There was a mention of "stimming" (electrical erotic stimulation) in a different thread, and another mentioned a "monkey rocker" - a rather ingenious bit of mechanical apperatus . That made me wonder how many people have used 'unusual' sex toys - by unusual I mean things other than vibrators or normal dildos. As a related question, how much do you spend on sex toys. I've noticed that there are a lot of sex shops (online and offline) and a lot of this stuff is quite expensive.

I've spent quite a lot on toys - my wife enjoys them, but so far only on conventional type toys.

Anyone ever use a sybian (or if male a venus2000) - both very expensive (>$1000) but supposedly very good.

I have a very high end strap-on harness with a few equally high end detachable dildos, if that counts. Strap-ons aren't something you can compromise on as far as quality is concerned IMO, because the fit and sturdiness directly affect 'delivery,' so it's everything. (Everything has to be form-fitting, snug and firm in order to thrust effectively and not fight against yourself, and I'm a no-hands type girl.) Several hundred dollars worth of equipment anyway, but it's worth every cent.

I adore Lelo products and have several (their mini vibe Mia is my constant companion in my purse), but they don't make strap-ons. Babeland is where I get all that. They have silly names for their stuff though, like the "T-Rex" dildo and the "Outlaw". A well-prepared girl will come ready with several sizes and varieties, because you never know how much or what kind your partner wants to accomodate. Just rings up more sales I guess, but again it's all worth it. Confronting a petite delicate flower with the T-Rex might not exactly blow up her skirt.

No sybians, electrocution, or any of those mechanical contraptions for me, lol. To each their own, but when I seen those in pornos I mainly just have giggling fits. Maybe I'm just boring.

Jen1447: what company's strapons? (mostly curious - we don't use them (though I would be interested) but I like to know about other manufacturers who make good stuff.

We have a couple of lelo toys - my wife likes the small vibrator for foreplay, but not much else. She doesn't like rigid insertable toys.

Have a jimmyjane form 6 that she never liked (too rigid). Have a form-2 that is nicely portable for travel, but she prefers a hitachi at home.

Got one of the Jopan high end rabbit style vibrators - she found it completely uninteresting.

We do have an Outlaw that she sometimes likes when she wants something big. We tried a "randy" but it was too wide for her. Mostly she prefers ones with a lot of texture and we have a variety of those.

We don't have anything though that I'd consider exotic.

We're familiar with and use and enjoy Tantus and Vixen stuff.

Sadly while my wife enjoys lots of different things she isn't able to bring herself to tell me what she likes - either for activities or toys. I can guess at activities, but we have an embarrassing number of toys that never get used because she wasn't interested.

As far as the memory leak - firefox works OK for me, impossible to use this site with chrome. They have some serious problem - Diagnostics seem to show the same adds being loaded over and over again.

If your wife would be interested in pegging you (I'm assuming that's what the strapon would be used for between you), you'd be doing her a huge favor by letting her step right into the Joque and skipping the rest. Aside from the fact that it's so awesomely adjustable and just fits and actually feels comfortable, it's great because the dildo ring is very elastic, yet firm. I can get the randy and the outlaw in mine - they're both very girthy - but it also handles slimmer dildos just as well.

Wouldn't be much clearer way of telling her you want it that way either, and you can tell her I said it's very liberating.

I don't think she is up for trying it, I've hinted at similar things before. Its OK: there are a wide variety of things we do get to do together. I think she is more passive / submissive in bed and probably wouldn't enjoy it much.

We had a sex swing and if it'd had some sort of neck support (I have terrible neck problems) it would have been great, as it was too much strain on my neck but otherwise it made some positions much easier for us, with over a foot in height difference somethings just don't work out. I really want but haven't yet tried a bouncy chair/seat. I personally like glass over silicon (and they're so much prettier ) The Eroscillator is great because of it's variability. I don't like clamps (constant pressure is just annoying) but would like some nipple toys if we could find something that could vary the pressure. I'm fascinated by the sybian but with my on again off again libido I'm sure it wouldn't get nearly enough use to justify the cost. We probably spend 200-500/yr on toys/dress up.

Jen thanks for the tips on the harness, I've just started looking into that so you may have saved me a lot of time and bad equipment I also got a tip last night from the bartender on a good site for menswear, it's much harder to find sex/sexy clothes for men than for women. Should have thought to ask the men at the gay bar sooner, lol.
