Clit suckers are designed to create suction directly over the clitoris and mimic world-class cunnilingus — a sensation that’s akin to what you’d feel during real oral sex.
After 178 cumulative hours of research and real orgasms testing a wide range of suction toys, we’ve concluded that the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is the best overall clit sucking vibrator available based on features, versatility, performance, and budget-friendly price.
We’ll share our other top pick, which ones didn’t make our list (and why), along with what makes a great clit sucking sex toy.

Fellow tester and our editor-in-chief, Alison Huff, reviewed the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation and summed up this popular clitoral-sucking vibrator succinctly when she said:
“The first time I used this clit sucking vibrator, I came in less than 30 seconds. It changed everything I thought I knew about sex toys.”

From that point on, she explained, it became her go-to clit sucker and regular shower companion.
“I never understood the fuss over waterproof vibrators,” she said. “Not until taking this with me into the shower one day. Then…I got it. It gives you the perfect opportunity to make use of your alone time, wherever you can fit it in.”

As one of the most popular clit sucking toys available (Adam & Eve has sold more than 575,000 of them, as of this writing), the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation touts proprietary “air-pulse technology.”

Satisfyer explains that their clit sucker vibrator stimulates without direct contact, via a larger-than-average soft silicone head.

This is a vital feature when you’re talking about the clitoris — which is highly sensitive and the size of which varies from person to person.
Direct pressure can be too intense for some people while others would rather start slow and ramp up to more intense clit stimulation.
With the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation, you get the best of both worlds because through 11 vibration settings, it offers something for everyone — literally.

The first few settings are incredibly light, which is perfect if you don’t need (or want) intense stimulation.
If you do, however, this little sucker has got you covered — the settings beyond level 5 or so will rock your world in ways you never dreamed possible.
That said, it starts off quiet — but doesn’t stay that way.

During our testing, we found that this one can get REALLY loud at its highest intensity (11), registering 64.9 dB — about midway between the sound of a normal conversation and a washing machine.
This means it will likely be loud enough to be heard from another room, especially if the house is quiet.
There are ways to make a vibrator operate more quietly, however.
There is one other important thing to consider with this air-suction toy: you’ll be buying replacement parts now and again.

Specifically, the silicone head — which pops off easily for cleaning but is also not designed to last forever.
Most clitoral-sucking vibrators do not have replaceable parts, so once the materials begin to show wear, the whole thing winds up in the recycling bin.

If you replace the heads whenever they show signs of wear, you can continue to use your Pro 2 Next Generation for as long as the motor works.
Additionally, this clit sucker comes with a 15-year warranty from Satisfyer.
The one thing I didn’t love about this particular vibrator is that it’s not easy to use while laying on your stomach — you have to flip it around, but then in doing so, the angle against your clit is less than ideal.
Additionally, I found the directions in the manual to be a little chaotic, but the ease of use is actually pretty simple — it has a button to turn it on and off, and up/down buttons to raise or lower the intensity.

You don’t need to read the manual to use this vibrator (and in my experience, that’s a good thing).
In terms of battery life, the Pro 2 Next Generation will give you anywhere from about 35 minutes on high to 60 minutes on low after being fully charged, which takes about 90 minutes.
That said, it is USB rechargeable and the magnetic connection is strong — so you don’t have to worry about it becoming loose while charging.

(We’ve had that happen a time or two with other toys and there is nothing worse than thinking your vibrator is fully charged when it didn’t charge at all.)
Overall, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is one of the best tools for getting the job done if you’re looking for a clitoral orgasm that cums when you call — and without breaking the bank in the process.
Also Good (Lux Pick): LELO SILA Cruise

LELO SILA Cruise
4.6
Pros:
- Sonic-Induced Cunnilingus + “Cruise Control” Power Boost
- Oval Clitoral Mouth Accommodates Most Anatomies
- Hands-Free If Held Between The Thighs
- 100% Waterproof Silicone Construction
- Up To 2 Hour Playtime
Cons:
- Less Intense Sensations
- Luxury Option, Not Budget-Friendly
- Not Easily Used During Intercourse
- Can Be Noisy
- 2 Hour Charge Time
Decibel Level:
dB: 56.8 (low); 57.7 (med); 61.8 (high) [Note: 40-50 dB is considered quiet; 60 dB is a normal conversation or air conditioner]
Bottom Line:
The SILA Cruise from LELO offers a slower roll compared to other clit suckers, offering sensations that are less intense but perfect for long edging sessions by yourself or with a partner. Crafted from the softest silicone imaginable, this waterproof vibrator features a wide, oval mouth that fits a range of body types with greater ease and the cruise control function maintains its power and intensity when pressing into it while reaching your big finish (climax). Although our top pick gets the job done just as well, this luxury option is perfect for those seeking high-end materials and longer battery life, and who don’t wish to buy occasional replacement heads.
$160.65 @ LELO –> CODE: WHI15
$189.00 @ Adam & Eve
Crafted from 100% waterproof insanely soft silicone and arriving in a classy ass box, the SILA Cruise is an upgrade over the original SILA, providing LELO’s “cruise control” technology which ensures the vibrations don’t wane if you’re pressing it tightly to your body.
The Original SILA Vs. SILA Cruise
- SILA Cruise offers “Cruise Control” functionality — its only upgrade over the original SILA
- Cruise Control helps the toy to maintain full motor power whenever the toy is pressed against the body with firmer force
- To accomplish this, LELO SILA Cruise keeps 20% of its overall battery life in reserve to maintain uninterrupted motor power during times when the vibrator is pressed tightly to the body

What that means is that, in the throes of passion and just as you’re about to climax, this high-end clit sucker won’t give out on you so you can reach your big finish.
“Absolutely love, love, LOVE this toy,” fellow tester Zoë said.
She explained that it’s “super easy to use” and “gets very strong,” featuring a lot of settings to explore (8 in total) and the ability to raise or lower the intensity of each vibration setting and pattern for a customizable experience — plus, it’s completely waterproof.

Crafted from body-safe silicone and ABS plastic, the SILA is a sonic vibe with the deep, pulsing suction vibration that LELO’s toys are known for.
And boy, are they ever known for it — we reviewed the original SILA and it was mind-blowing.
The SILA is able to stay in place through any number of positions, and at a few different angles.

This is due to its slimmer body and the wide lip around its opening — it’s easier to place when compared to the SONA 2 Cruise, which has a much smaller “mouth” and requires more accuracy for favorable results.

With some clit sucker toys (particularly those with smaller mouths), placement is a game of target practice, almost.
With the SILA Cruise, however, as long as you nail the general vicinity, the suction vibration is right where it needs to be.
Fellow tester Alison Huff, said, “I think the oval mouth is just the better and easier fit — you don’t have to play around with figuring out the best angle/position like you do the SONA 2 Cruise. Press the SILA against you, and it just works.”

The SILA Cruise offers less intense sonic pulses than its predecessors, which may make it an ideal choice for those looking for something more subtle and long-lasting.
This clit stimulator is also great for edging — if you’re into long and drawn-out pleasure sessions with just one very acute climax at the end.
If you’re looking to sneak in a quickie, however — or even multiple orgasms — this can still get the job done if you ramp up the intensity on the vibration setting you like best.

In our testing, this one can get fairly loud on its highest intensity levels when not pressed firmly against your skin, registering 61.8 dB (a little louder than a normal conversation) on its highest setting.
This means it may be loud enough to be heard from another room, depending on the ambient sound.
You can still muffle the sound with a few tricks, however.
Additionally, although it takes about 2 hours to charge, you also get about 2 hours worth of use on a full charge.

One thing I personally didn’t like about this particular toy relates to the instructions.
Beyond tiny print on a tiny slip of paper, you get a QR code for the real manual — with no other instructions in the box.
Although LELO toys are easy to use once you know how to use them, the design of the SILA Cruise was not all that intuitive overall.
I honestly wasn’t even sure what the up and down buttons did, because they didn’t seem to have an effect on the patterns when I first turned it on.

With time (and experience), I was able to figure it out, but it was not as intuitive as it could have been — and certainly not as easy to use compared to other clitoral suction vibrators we tested.
That said, once you know how to use a 3-button interface on a LELO toy, you know how to use others — so there’s that.
Overall, the SILA Cruise is a beautiful (yet expensive) clit sucking vibrator that is sleek and highly effective — not to mention adaptable to a wide range of anatomies.
It’s definitely worth checking out if your budget allows but if it doesn’t, our top pick (Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation) gets the job done just as well — for less than half the cost.
How We Made Our Picks And Features We Considered

When we began our research, we spoke with the most experienced sex toy users on our team, digging into what makes a great clit sucking toy (beyond the safety of their materials) and what to look for.
We learned that the most important factors that relate to a clit sucker’s performance are the size and shape of the “mouth” — the part that covers the clitoris during use — along with the range of settings or vibration patterns it offers.
Clits are a lot like snowflakes — no two are exactly alike in size, shape, and sensitivity.
For this reason, we were advised to consider any product’s versatility in terms of a person’s anatomy and needs.
Most clit sucking toys (77) on our initial list of 126 products were rejected based on factors that included unsafe materials (like TPR blends, PVC, and jelly rubber), poor construction, or questionable order fulfillment (most commonly among toys of the rose variety).
The remaining 49 were whittled down to just 11 after carefully considering size and fit restrictions, setting and intensity limitations, and negative user ratings.
We feel that a quality clit sucking vibrator should be safe for your body, easy to care for, long-lasting, and of course — mind-blowingly effective.
Clitoral suction toys that made our final list were put through a rigorous 31-point rating system during testing that included elements like discreetness, fit and comfort during use, performance, ease of cleaning, and many others.
This ultimately led to our final list of recommendations based on a non-biased, hands-on scoring system that yielded the absolute best clit sucking vibrators available.
The most important criteria to look for in a clit-sucking vibrator include:
- Body-safe, non-porous materials
- Quality design and construction
- Fit that creates good suction over the entire clitoris (and clitoral hood)
- “Mouth” that fits anatomies of all sizes
- Reliable and convenient power supply
- Battery life and usage time
- Ease of cleaning
- Water-resistant and ideally, waterproof
- Sound level (to a lesser extent)
- Price (lux picks & budget-friendly)
- Warranty (if applicable)
- Real-world performance
When choosing the best clit sucking vibrators, we weighed and tested:
- How well did it fit the varied anatomies of our team?
- Did it create suction well — and was it too much (or too little)?
- Did it offer sufficient vibration patterns?
- How long did it take to charge?
- How long did the charge last on various settings?
- Was it intuitive or did it require a learning curve?
- How did it perform solo or with a partner (if applicable)?
- How did it perform in water?
- Was it loud?
- Was it easy to clean?
- How did the construction hold up after repeated uses?
- Other individual factors unique to the tester
Clit Suckers That Didn’t Make Our List

Clitoral suction toys come in all shapes and sizes, but not all of them will fit every clitoris like a glove — and some left a lot to be desired (literally and figuratively).
While they are designed to fit snugly over the clitoris to create suction, all bodies are different — so the fit can vary.
Additionally, clitoral sensitivity plays a major role in how well a clit sucking vibrator toy actually works — or doesn’t.
We initially explored 126 unique clit sucking vibrators from 35 sex toy manufacturers that included:
- LELO
- Womanizer
- Satisfyer
- Lora DiCarlo
- XR Brands (Inme, Bloomgasm, Shegasm)
- Smile Makers
- Rose Toy**
- CalExotics (French Kiss, Slay, and Naughty Bits lines)
- Inya
- Nü Sensuelle
- And many others…
**Note: The Rose Toy (rose vibrator) doesn’t belong to a singular brand or manufacturer. However, after sifting through dozens of vendors, some with questionable materials, we selected only two we trusted — Bloomgasm and Lovehoney — for testing.
Although our team tested 11 vibrating suction toys in total, most of them did not make our list of top recommendations and we’ll explain the reasons why.
- Lora DiCarlo Baci: Actually… this suction sex toy DID make our list of recommendations — and topped it, scoring a perfect 5 out of 5 from all testers. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, Baci is no longer available as Lora DiCarlo has gone out of business.
- LELO SONA 2 Cruise: We really wanted to love this one and in fact, one team member reviewed the SONA 2 Cruise a while back and absolutely raved about it. However beautiful and well-crafted it may be, the “mouth” of the toy is on the small side and did not easily accommodate the anatomies of our other testers.
- Womanizer Pro40: The design is smooth and contemporary but Alison noted that this clit toy resembles a pipe — and now we can’t unsee that. Some testers noted that the suction was just far too strong — akin to a clit vacuum rather than a sucker.
- Womanizer Liberty: Similarly to the Pro40, the Womanizer Liberty was “nothing too special,” according to Zoë, one of our testers. Its operation is loud, likely because of the hard ABS plastic body, and although the tip is soft and features a removable head, it doesn’t easily lay flat against your body for hands-free use.
- Bloomgasm Royalty Rose: This updated version of the classic rose vibrator was loved by some — but not all. The textured nubbies worked for some testers, but others found the vibrations to be far too weak.
- Lovehoney Rose: We’ve been hearing about earth-shattering orgasms from the rose vibrator for a long time so we were especially excited to have an opportunity to try one ourselves — just to see what the fuss is all about. We don’t understand the hype. No one on our testing team had success with this vibrator and one of them rated it a 0, saying that she “actually hated this toy.”
- Satisfyer Pro Penguin: Overall, the Satisfyer Pro Penguin is an adorable clit sucking vibrator that actually worked well for some of our testers but didn’t score high enough to be included as a top recommendation. The large, squarish mouth didn’t fit all of our testers’ anatomies comfortably enough.
- Smile Makers Poet: A relatively new product from Smile Makers, the Poet is their version of a rose vibrator, featuring three interchangeable heads to offer more versatility in its fit and function. Alison loved this clit sucker — but no one else was especially moved by it. The Poet features only one vibration speed and 5 pattern settings, although you can ramp up its intensity by squeezing the sides of the vibrator during use.
- Lora DiCarlo Osé 2: Although not technically a clit sucking vibrator alone, the Osé 2 from Lora DiCarlo was a rare dual stimulator that featured a shaft for G-spot stimulation along with the same clit sucking mechanism as the Baci, but had one hell of a steep learning curve. Unfortunately, and just like Baci, this particular product is no longer available unless you’re able to still find it from a reseller who has it in stock.
As we mentioned earlier, clits are kinda like snowflakes — no two are exactly alike.
For this reason, our best advice is to read in-depth reviews (like ours!) and relate those experiences to your own needs when selecting the best sucking clit vibrator for yourself — or any other type of vibrator, for that matter.
What To Know About Clit Sucking Vibrators

A clit sucker provides incredible orgasms whenever you want them — no partner necessary — and trust us, after you’ve used one, you’re going to want to come back for more.
What Are Clit Sucking Vibrators?
A clitoral suction vibrator is one that uses pulses to produce a deep, penetrating sensation similar to what you’d feel when a person is actually sucking on your clitoris.
With just a touch of water-based lube, most vibrators of this nature will “latch” onto the clit, gently pulling it in soft, rhythmic patterns through motorized suction.
Sonic or air pulse stimulation is created by a different type of motor than what’s used in other vibrating toys — emitting a pulse of energy that’s powerful but not overwhelming.
This type of stimulation is ideal for body parts that have a high concentration of nerve endings, like the clitoris.
Technically vibrations of a sort, the pulses travel deeper and further throughout the clitoris without causing overstimulation.
They’re closer to what happens when you tap a metal table on one end and feel the vibration at the other — creating a diffused sensation that’s indirect yet unmistakable.
They can be expensive, however; high-end models may run upwards of $200 (or more).
Generally speaking, you (or your partner if they’re doing the shopping for you!) should expect to invest around $100 or more on a good item for clitoral suction, although our top recommendation is considerably less than that.
Who Should Use Clit Sucking Vibrators?
Anyone who enjoys clitorial stimulation akin to that achieved through cunnilingus should at least try a clit sucking vibrator, especially if you’re asking yourself, “Do I NEED a vibrating clit sucker?”
(Does vanilla ice cream really need hot fudge? Maybe not — but why would you go without it when you know it’s available?)
That said, you may need to try a few suction sex toys to find your perfect match, as they’re designed to fit over the clitoris — so size, shape, and vibration intensity can affect how well it works for your body.
Clit sucking vibrators are ideal for anyone who enjoys clitoral stimulation that’s deeper compared to the “surface” vibration provided by typical clit vibrators such as bullets, eggs, or wands.
As we mentioned earlier, clit sucking vibrators penetrate the clitoris on a deeper level and they’re not “buzzy,” in general.
Pros And Cons Of Clit Sucking Vibrators
Clit sucking vibrators are not the most versatile sex toys on earth but they ARE good at what they do — providing suction over the clitoris and sometimes, even the nipples or other erogenous zones.
If you’re thinking about purchasing a suction vibrator, it’s a good idea to be familiar with the pros and cons beforehand.
Clit Sucker Pros:
- They create suction directly over the clitoris — which is a treat for lovers of cunnilingus
- They can often be used on the nipples or other erogenous zones
- They tend to offer a range of vibration intensities and patterns (although not always)
- They are generally waterproof for play in the bath or shower and the water itself can actually change the sensations experienced (often for the better)
- They tend to offer quiet operation although typically only when pressed against the body
- They’re available in a wide range of sizes and styles, and some models even include multiple “heads” to accommodate different body types
- They can be used during partnered masturbation play
- They’re most often USB rechargeable
Clit Sucker Cons:
- The size of the “mouth” and the vibration intensity of any clit sucking vibrator can be hit-or-miss depending on your anatomy and personal sensitivity
- Depending on the design, they’re not always easily used during penetrative sex
- The noise level is higher when they’re not “attached” to the clitoris, which equates to lower discretion during use
- These products tend to be among the most expensive sex toys
Are Clit Suckers Safe?

Yes, clit sucking vibrators are perfectly safe provided they’re used according to the instructions and are made from body-safe materials.
Additionally, you can enjoy using a clit sucking vibrator as often as you want without fear of losing sensitivity.
In most cases and in the absence of complications or health concerns, clit sucking vibrators are perfectly safe during pregnancy, as well.
Here are some safety considerations you should know about:
- Safe materials: High-quality vibrators are made from non-toxic materials that are body-safe and nonporous and the same is true for clit suction toys, with the safest ones being made from silicone or ABS plastic.
- Unsafe materials: Clit sucking vibrators made from porous materials — including phthalates, thermoplastic rubber and elastomer (TPE/TPR), rubber, jelly rubber, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), or Bisphenol A (BPA) — should be avoided, as these can harbor bacteria and in some cases, have the potential to leach toxic chemicals during use.
- Unknown (or unreputable) brands: It’s important to note that some “off-brand” clit sucking sex toys are marketed as being made from silicone when they are actually crafted from porous TPR blends. This is of particular concern when it comes to the rose toy, a clitoral stimulator that looks like the bud of a rose.
- Cleaning: Sex toys made of nonporous materials like those indicated above can be cleaned with soap and a warm washcloth, but most clit suckers are waterproof and can be washed (and rinsed) directly under running water.
- Using lube: ABS plastic clit sucking vibrators are perfectly safe to use with just about any type of lube, including silicone and oil-based lubricants. A silicone clitoral suction stimulator, however, should only be used with water-based lube, as silicone lubricant can degrade toys made from the same material.

Closing Thoughts
Ultimately, an effective clit sucker will provide fun and pleasure in a safe and reliable way but before you invest in one of your own, take some time to thoroughly research which products will work best for you.
Choosing the right clit sucking vibe isn’t all that different from choosing a romantic partner.
The right one should be appealing to look at, unquestionably safe, highly dependable, and should be all kinds of awesome in the bedroom, hot tub, shower, kitchen table…or anywhere else you like to do your thing.
And if it just so happens to lead to hours of clit sucking — so much the better for you!
