    buying vibrator in privacy?

Have questions about where to buy a vibrator?

    We have more answers!

Read our Knowledge Base article, "Where To Buy A Vibrator Online Or In Person" here:

I'll be turning nineteen next month and for a good year now I've been wanting a vibrator. Im single, a virgin and still live with my parents, so it isn't exactly easy to buy a vibrator in privacy. I dont have my license yet so I can't go out and get one so I wanted to order one over line but my mom especially is usually the one to get the packages when the mail comes and she's going to wonder what I got, Im terrible at lieing. I dont want them to know I have one they arent particularly against sex toys but I want it to be private Any advice?

If you can have it shipped to a friend's house that might be a good idea. Then just get rid of the box and packaging and sneak it in to the house in your purse or something. I managed to get a leather crop past my in-laws (this was before we were living together and married) by putting then handle in my shoes, and the rest running up my jeans, lol. Sometimes you have to be creative.

Also...just a note from personal experience. I tried my first one this year, I knew nothing about buying them but figured if it was expensive it was going to work great...SOOOO not the case, lol. It was pretty traumatizing and I threw it away.

You can buy all kinds of "personal massagers" that will do the job very well. Especially in the holiday season you can find them in most drug stores or department stores. Maybe look for a smaller "purse" size with a design that won't catch your pubic hairs.

Maybe get it delivered to a friends place? make it seem to be a gift for your parents perhaps?

i have the same problem. it's nearly impossible to just buy a vibrator in privacy. online is the best way to do it but then there's the delivery problem and having your credit card linked to it and if you go in a store the clerk is gonna know what you got. its all so NOT private. best advice other than shipping it to a friends? man up and go to the store! as long as you have an ID that states you're over 18 you can buy it.

Go online to Target, Walmart, Amazon - they all have dozens of massagers and some of them are flat out vibrators. Bet you can get some of then in the stores as holiday gift items too. If you decide to order online (do you have a bank account - if you do you can pay using paypal) tell your family you have ordered some gift items - don't open them! At your age your privacy should be respected. I would never open a package for my kids.

Yes, who knew Amazon sells vibrators?!?! You can order and your vibrator arrives inconspicuously looking like a book. I bought a LELO Gigi. Needs more testing but so far, so good.

FYI, the purchase does get recorded in your past orders.
