My husband finally arrived in the 2000’s and now has an iPhone. As one does, I immediately sent him a boob pic while he was at work. There’s no reason I should feel weird about sending a nude to my partner of 23 years, but I kinda do.
I'm not even sure why. Maybe because of the cloud?

People still send nudes right? It’s not weird, is it?
Maybe I feel like I’m too old for that sort of thing?

Yeah, it's still a thing. I send partially clothed, nude or sexually suggestive pics to my man when I know he could use a little mental break.

Myself I would love to get such photos from a romantic interest but in work environments you have to be careful because some people can be sensitive and that can affect the person getting the photo's job in some cases. I wish it wasn't so but it is.

People definitely still send nudes, though yes, knowing they probably/definitely live in the cloud is a strange feeling for me sometimes, too.

When I first got together with my now-husband, we were long-distance and daily (or nearly) nudes became part of how we communicated. Even now, when we've lived together since 2014, I'll sometimes send him one just because I can...even though he's only a room away, lol.

This is something I have always avoided for privacy reasons. I did end up sending a few to a long-distance partner last fall through Facebook Messenger and then deleted them from the message thread a couple of weeks later because I was worried about hacking. Most did not include my face but a few did. I have no moral objections to nudes, but I definitely have privacy concerns about sending them. Nothing is really private anymore, and if they fall into the wrong hands, they can do a lot of damage to a person's life. It's not really worth it to me.

I know that there's a chance your nudes could somehow get out because I'm sure if someone wanted to it wouldn't be hard to get into my icloud account but my thoughts are that simply no one would want to do that lol. If I was a celebrity or a politician I definitely wouldn't send them but for now I feel protected by my anonymity. There would be a lot easier ways for someone to enjoy boobs on the internet than hacking into account for my blurry *** pics.

Oh Yes Girl couples do send each other pics, Some couples like myself even send each other audio & video. Might be because we don't get to see each other that often. I hope he replied back.

I don't think it's weird to send nudes at all, as long as they're going to someone trusted.

Heck, one group I belong to (all women) used to send each other "birthday boobs" — we'd take photos (neck down) of our breasts in lacy bras to celebrate (you guessed it) someone's birthday and we'd share them in a group chat. LOL! It was just sexy, harmless fun and I don't even know why we ever started doing it... but it just became a thing.

But too, they're a trusted group so I never had any worries about doing it (I'm also never planning to run for public office in the future...). If someone hacked my photos, oh well... they got a treat, I guess?

I do think that for privacy reasons, it's probably safest to go the "headless" route just in case. But really, as long as both parties are trustworthy, I don't see the harm in it. And people definitely still do it.

I remember back in the day when pictures could only be developed at a photo-mat, someone likely had a great time developing photographs an old boyfriend took of me. Again, no plans to run for office so... it is what it is. LOL!
