We are planning a holiday to a European destination where I was told topless bathing is quite common. The thought of giving it a try is both intimidating and enticing. I am nervous and tempted at the same time.

My husband says there is no problem if I leave my bikini top at the hotel and bare my breasts at the beach. We both know the beach will be quite crowded during summer. Yesterday, he even started to unpack my bikini tops, put them back in the drawer and said in a teasing tone that the bottom halves are more than adequate. That I shouldn't worry. That he doesn't mind other men seeing me. I think the whole idea kind of arouses him. I feel a tingling inside, a mixture of embarrassment and excitement. I've put the bikini tops back in the suitcase, but might take them back out at the last minute.

Does anyone have experience going topless at the beach? Or swimming pool at the hotel?

Do you think men get aroused by the idea of their wives being half naked? It took me quite some time to get comfortable being naked with him, in the privacy of our bedroom or bathroom. This is a big step for me. Has it been for you? Would you do it just to please your husband?

I don’t think I’d be into that sort of public display of nudity, nor do I think you should be pressured to expose your body in ways you aren’t comfortable with.

I’d suggest bringing bikini tops with you and deciding whether to wear them once you arrive. Being allowed to go topless doesn’t mean you’re required to.

Thanks for your answer. I dunno, as I said I'm nervous, but I really want to try it. I'll take a couple of bikini tops just in case. I made it clear to my husband that it will be my decision. He says he won't ask again, but I know he would love to see me going topless. There is no pressure whatsoever. Talking about it has aroused us both. I think it may add a little spark and a completely new sensation to our holiday. But I'm doing it for myself.

Welcome to WH Interactive Forums. If you will be getting strong sun on skin that usually doesn't get it, sunscreen might be a good option. I used to go to a nude beach quite often. After getting married, my wife and I and a friend and his wife went to the nude beach together. Both of us guys got naked but our wives weren't into it. I think at a topless beach in Europe, few people will even notice if you are going topless. Maybe your husband will be aroused by you being topless but honestly, after being at a place that women are topless and bottomless, it becomes the new norm and arousal doesn't really play a part.

Topless on holiday in Europe is not a big deal. It's just tanning. If you feel sexy then great but seeing topless women sunbathing isn't really arousing. But everyone will always have a look lol
