    What's on your sexy-times playlist?

So I was rummaging around in Apple Music to piddle with playlists (currently building a proper "Rush Essentials" playlist because I'm sorry, but the Apple Music one is missing a lot and basically sucks. Yeah I said it.).

But while doing so, I scrolled past Afghan Whigs' 1965 and remembered how hot that album is. Like, that's probably one of the most sexy-times albums ever.

What songs and/or albums are on your list??

Some off the top of my head:
    • The whole 1965 album because seriously... it's that good.
    • Criminal (Fiona Apple)
    • Closer (NIN)
    • #1 Crush (Garbage)
    • These Arms of Mine (Otis Redding)

I know there are others I'll likely think of later.

And I was right, because I'll add these albums too:

Bloom (Beach House) — Myth is a favorite for sure.
Heaven or Las Vegas (Cocteau Twins)
    Disintegration (The Cure)
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (Lauryn Hill) — Killing Me Softly because of course.

One thing I have noticed is that the Apple Music "essentials" doesn't really always play the ESSENTIALS -- but what it thinks is a good curated list of the most popular songs commercially. But as a fan, those deeper cuts are the REAL essentials that we know and love and appreciate and really, songs that we'd like to pass along to those approaching that artist or song because they should be introduced not just to an artist's commercial success, but the deep cuts that perhaps they'd never heard before and where the magic is.

There are so many artists that the songs that never made it to the radio are far superior to the ones that did!

As for what songs are on my "sexy times" playlist, I'd never really created one -- I usually just played my top hits, a positive chillout playlist that is great mood music, or in friskier or fun times, a dance playlist to keep the beats thumping!

Oh I love soft meditation-like music, too. I used to be a HUGE Enigma fan back in the day (the 90s, a time of gregorian chants lol). I'd forgotten all about them... maybe I should add their albums to my library. I had CDs once upon a time.

My f buddy is a total hippy and so we always meditate before sex. Sitting in front of each other naked was a new experience and really enjoyable. Chanting music creates an atmosphere. Moving to the rhythm of the chants is also amazing. And when I'm being loud it sounds like it fits the music lol
