    What is the difference?

Extremely good question to gage answers:-

    So:-

What is the difference of having sex, to making love?

Making love is when you know you're gonna spend your life with a man. It's consummation with a soul mate and a life partner. It transcends the physical to go to emotional and even spiritual levels.

Sex is when you know the next day you may never see him again and you're just having a fun romp in the sack with him. Or if the two of you couldn't stand to live with each other but you get together sometimes to tap that sweet stuff. Friends with benefits.

Making love is having sex while connecting more than just on a physical level.

      Sex is purely physical.

A person might meet someone and have a one-night stand. I would consider that just having sex. But two people demonstating their love for each other... thats making love. However, it is still possible for two people to be in love and still just have sex hence the "quicky."

For me, in short, I think it's all dependant on your mood...

Sometimes, it's about the act itself, strictly enjoying the 'feelings' and I would call that sex.

Sometimes it's about the person, and the act is just an extension of that. I'd call that making love.

Sometimes it's about both...and that's when I'd call it amazing.

They are the same. Both use the exact same mechanical technique. "Making love" was coined by someone way too uptight to say "got ****** real good last night".

I would argue that such a person wasn't really making love, was s/he? I honestly believe that a person who makes love would care about how the other person feels about that act and would not defame it by making such a crude comment.

              Funny

Do you not think though that 'making love' involves more foreplay, whereas sex, is just sex....

Sounds like a simple answer but it isn't at the same time. It gets complicated. However, I would say making love is tender and sweet, feeling your feelings of love about the person during the sex act and actually thinking about that during sex. Having sex is intercourse, oral sex, whatever has no special thoughts or feelings of love (necessarily) attached to the act....maybe passion and fun, but not necessarily love.

I think that "just sex" can involve plenty of foreplay...

I suppose the only line I could draw would be if you actually loved the person, and if the sex was pretty vanilla. It would be difficult to call tieing someone up, electrocuting them and having anal sex with them as making love, no matter how much she might love him.

                    This one is easy:

I 'Make Love' to my wife as I truly care about her pleasure and making sure she comes first and all focus is on her. (comes first as in priority not necessarily cum'ing first, although that is a plus as its give me a green light to blast off! )

I imagine "Sex' as a quickie or a long bang with some unknown person that I truly lust after for sheer physical pleasure.
