Welcome to the formum renay, bleeding is a sign of your hymen breaking and therefore, virginity lost.

It is always difficult but your boyfriend should have gone very slow, then it wouldn't have fallen out and it wouldn't maybe, have hurt as much...

Perhaps talk to him, he got excited and ran with it, we are human are we not? So gently gently is the way to go even from here.

If his penis was in your vagina, you've lost your virginity. Whether you lost your entire hymen is another question.

It depends on what you mean by "losing one's virginity".

If you are talking about it physically, i.e. the hymen, then it can take a few times before the hymen is broken. It's what makes entering difficult, that a part of the hymen is still there. You can bleed the first 3-4 times even as it variates and the pain also variates from woman to woman. But it always goes away after a few times. There is also a chance that let's say you have first time sex today and you bleed but your second time is months later; you might bleed equally both times. There's no standard for it but the pain eventually always goes away if you are healthy.

If you are talking about it mentally and emotionally, then you lost it with your first guy, as he was the one going there first and probably did somewhat tear the hymen as well.

So, I guess if you want an official 'verdict' as to who you lost it to, you should probably go for the first guy.

The simple fact is that once you attempt sex with a penis you are no longer a virgin. Blood or no blood ... not a virgin
The first time I had sex I didnt bleed at all. I remember it being a little uncomfortable but I dont remember it hurting until the next day.
And the key to less painful and way more enjoyable sex all together is foreplay! Never rush into it.

Considering the phrase virgin seems to be such a matter of debate and opinion these days it pretty much comes down to what you believe.

In my opinion, intercourse means loss of virginity. Duration, enjoyment, hymen loss, etc etc are all simply fine points that can be used to argue the subject.

I lost my virginity a few days ago. It took a while because he kept falling out but once he was in, it hurt for a minute and then I was okay. I assumed my hymen was a little torn but afterward I realized I hadn't bled at all. The next day there was a little residue and a little soreness but that was it. So now Im wondering if my hymen was actually torn. I know the pain level is different from woman to woman but is it normal for a woman not to bleed at all if it's torn or does that mean that it wasn't? And if it actually was torn a little then will there be pain and bleeding the next time? Any opinions would be helpful

You know, it's kind of funny how you see things when you're young. I became sexually active at far too young of an age, but because I never had actual penis/vagina sexual intercourse, I always thought of myself as a virgin. But as I've gotten older (to the ripe old age of 34) I realize that when I was giving and receiving oral sex (to orgasm) and engaging in mutual masturbation, and even tried anal intercourse once, I don't think I can really convince myself that I was a virgin when I finally let him put it inside. We knew each other's bodies as intimately as possible. We gave each other many orgasms prior to that. But as long as it never went in (and my hymen was broken when I was 11, having nothing to do with sex) I figured I was a virgin. It the scheme of things, it really doesn't matter at all.

I know that it doesn't really matter to me either wether my hymen was broken or not. It just worried me a little when I didn't bleed. Like, is that normal for some women not to bleed?
