I would like to purchase my first dildo. Truthfully, I have no idea what to buy. Looking in the adult section of e-bay, there are about a million different kinds in a wide variety of price ranges. Any recommendations you can make would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Unfortunately it is against the rules to suggest a store or product from a store. Ebay is not where I would go though. There are plenty of adult toy sites that are more reliable. I would suggest something simple but with a vibrate option. I also made sure my first one was water proof.
You can search for things like "dildo materials" or types and find articles on sites with toys for sale helping you decide.

The one that is most popular is the Rabbit. Its a brand name, but every toy maker has a rabbit like one. Its a dildo with a vibrator. The clit vibrator looks like rabbit ears. You can get them as cheap at $40 but most cost closer to $70-120. I would suggest buying the cheapest type.
