Hi,
A couple of days ago, me and my boyfriend bought two packets of condoms from a well known beauty store. We always have safe sex and I am even on birth control. however, after having sex the other day, we realised that one of the boxes of condoms we bought was out of date (says 08/2012 on the packet).

I have emailed the store to let them know about these products but what are the chances that the condom had broke/split. Although I am on birth control, it's only my first pack and I am currently on the week off period.

I'm not sure what the dangers of expired condoms are I always thought as long as nothing breaks or there are no holes that you would be okay? Do you suspect it broke?

I don't know really, it seemed okay whilst we were using it so I suspect it wasn't broken and I'm pretty sure a condom is still very safe for up to a year of the expiry date but I'm not too sure, just very conscious.

I'm not worrying anymore due to the fact we are always safe and on bc but the shop need to know in case someone else who isn't on birth control has bought and used them x

If you don't get your period then you should test but until then I really wouldn't worry unless you feel strange like nauseous or something like that..
