    Underwear or not?

Not sure this is a toy, lube or accessories post, but it doesn't fit better elsewhere.
Do you wear panties/underwear? I enjoy going without undies these days and the bf prefers I wear panties. When I'm not seeing him, I often forego the panties if I'm not working. When I do wear them, and I know I'll be seeing him, I opt for something I know he likes.
Underwear seems like extra effort and extra laundry to do at this point. I'm post-menopausal, so there's no worries there.

Anyone else move away from wearing panties regularly?

I drink decaf coffee & decaf tea so it seems I'm running to bathroom a lot
which is why I now wear liners daily just in case, lol

Is the reason the extra effort with wearing underwear or are there other reasons (enjoy the risqué behavior, enjoy the freedom, etc.)? I used to go to nude beaches and it was great not to have to clean out a bunch of sand when I got home.

jns I don't really see it as all that risque. Maybe if I were wearing short skirts or something thin and see-through. These days it's mostly jeans or joggers when I'm not in uniforms. So, yeah, I think it's more for my comfort and practicality.

I've stopped wearing clothes to bed, which is something I never thought I'd do or say. I'm wondering if maybe I'm working up to a full-on commando lifestyle.

Wednesday L.F. I stopped wearing anything to bed quite a while ago. It just doesn't make sense, and it is so much more comfy.

I stopped wearing underwear as a kinky, fun thing to do with my partner (we're a D/s couple and do the whole BDSM lifestyle thing). Now, I only wear underwear when I think crotch sweat or bodily fluids will be an issue.

Since the pandemic, I've worn a bra a lot less, not for kinky, sexy reasons but because I spent so much time in soft clothes since we weren't going out as much. I will wear a bra when I go out most of the time but only if it's a sports bra or something without an underwire because those are most comfortable. And I say this as someone who has a drawer full of full-support, tons of wire, really cute bras.

And I sleep naked and feel very strange on the rare occasion I wear pajamas to bed.

I'm not ready to go full nudist or anything or even walk around my house without clothes but I definitely don't want to wear anything restrictive if I don't have to.

For me the seam of my jeans is too uncomfortable. I need a barrier. Plus re laundry I have tons of underwear and only a few pairs of pants so it wouldn't really make sense. But post pandemic I've been going without a bra a lot more. After spending so much time not wearing one while in quarantine putting one back on seemed ridiculous. It also made me realize how uncomfortable most of my pants/clothes were when I looked at how I wouldn't even consider wearing a pair of tight jeans in my home where no one would be seeing me.

From a dude's perspective, I always liked it when my partners did NOT wear underwear...it was a sexy turn-on, although I totally get why you might need or want to for so many reasons of hygiene, chafing, comfort, etc.

As for myself, I always wear underwear to bed...I've tried sleeping naked, but it just doesn't feel comfortable for me...stuff just flopping all around and not tightly cradled seems to be more distracting and keeps me awake rather than being freeing.
