And sex shops should not sell porn in my opinion. But I guess since everyone else hasn't just figured out to download it they have to get it from somewhere.

Got the magic wand off the net after watching a video and reading lots of reviews... So the purchase wasn't based on nothing. Anyway, I don't think shops let you really try them out... AS IN TURNED ON with batteries etc. So you don't really learn a whole lot more in shops... But then, being a guy, there is precisely zero sex toys for me so what do I know?Comment

See, I like Ann Summers! It's nice and organised, Sale underwear as you walk in the shop, then more expensive undies, sexier lingerie, PVC attire and whips, vibrators neatly on display and opposite there are many different types of lube with a *New* section and *flavoured section* The staff in there are friendly too, always chatting and smilingComment

Somehow rings and butt plugs don't excite me that much... Probably because they don't exactly give any actual pleasure... They might be ok as a side dish, but definately not a main course.
Maybe I'm just jealous that women can buy sex on a stick (har har) for £20 and men are stuck trying to impress women with fancy cars.
As for why there are more sex toys for women? Well, I think it's easier to make sex toys for women, I mean it's quite easy to make a phallus, a lot harder to make a realistic vagina.. Also the fact that no men can't make themselves orgasm, and the fact that men can't multiple orgasm. If I was designing a toy for ultimate pleasure, it'd have to be for a woman, as men just aren't equipped to have that much pleasure.
*jealously grumbles.Comment

Ah well, guess each gender has it's plusses and minuses. You guys are so visual and can usually get off so fast on your own, that you can sometimes leave us ladies wondering what you need us for? We, on the other hand, are capable of being multi orgasmic, are very mental/emotionally based sexually and can actually orgasm on thought (this has my bf jealous - he saw it a TV show) but we can take a long time getting there and can shut down - which is frustrating for both. The solution is lots of practice, experimenting and communication.
Some men really enjoy the various toys. I've heard a rumor that the Super Head Honcho is supposed to be quite the thing for men. But I've got a man who already does quite enough on his own, so I'm not encouraging him to find out - I prefer he stick with the real thing.Comment
