Is this the thread where we talk about looks then, eh??
-
Yes.
I have observed people in their 50s who looked 40 something because they didn't have kids.
I will never have a kid for a few reasons:
-Doesn't support you in your old age these days
-Takes a lot out of you.
-Cost money
Yes, I know my reasons are selfish, but the world doesn't owe ME anything. So, what do I owe the world?Comment

I think you are attracting the wrong women! I am a very pretty, smart, thin woman who doesn't expect anything but honesty, loyalty, and care from someone I am with. The right woman for you may find interest because of some of the material aspects you have, but for the most part it is going to be for your character and who you are! So be a little patient, and make sure you make it clear what you want and what you don't want. Please remember all woman are not the same!Comment

I should add that for once in my life over the last year I have been considered regular. You have no idea how much it SUCKED being picked on for like 19-20 years. I had family friends come up to my dad and tell me how much of a loser I would grow up to be. It always frustrated me!You've definitely overcame some obstacles in your life and that is commendable. But don't let the bitterness reflect who you are as a person, that you can change and I recommend that you do.
Everyone deserves happiness, whether or not your were supposed to live a normal life. If you move past the bitterness of how you were and focus on the person you are now, you'll make great strides personally.
Women don't want a guy with the outlook that you have on us. That is an uphill battle relationship wise... Instead of focusing on a potential relationship with you, she is also having to try to prove your stereotype of women wrong. It won't work.Comment

Why on earth would they do such a thing?I should add that for once in my life over the last year I have been considered regular. You have no idea how much it SUCKED being picked on for like 19-20 years. I had family friends come up to my dad and tell me how much of a loser I would grow up to be. It always frustrated me!
You know the saying? Living well is the best revenge.
When my dad was in high school the principal told his parents that they should just keep him on the farm - no sense in keeping him in school. Grandpa told him where to stick it. My dad was the first person ever from that community to earn a PhD. You can't let other people define you.Comment

That is SO unfortunate, I don't understand why anybody would do that.I should add that for once in my life over the last year I have been considered regular. You have no idea how much it SUCKED being picked on for like 19-20 years. I had family friends come up to my dad and tell me how much of a loser I would grow up to be. It always frustrated me!
