It's normal. And pretty much expected.

Now, try being a WOMAN with hair loss. That's still pretty much socially unacceptable and can be extremely hard to deal with. I experienced this during college due to birth control pills, and while the problem is completely resolved now, it's put things into perspective for me.
Meh, thats what im worried about.

Heres the bright side to all this:

    - I have a decent looking face with nice eyes

    -I can keep working out

    -I can grow a goatee

Mostly, I am worried about people making fun of me for being bald.

I suggest doing scalp massage, that may help. Male pattern baldness comes through the mother's side, did her father lose his hair early?

Bald on some men is sexy! He'd probably lose his hair anyway when he gets older as some men do. You just have to get used to it.

I actually used to worry about this. I'd look at guy's fathers and grandfathers and see if they looked like they might go bald. It was great if I knew they had very little chance of losing their hair... Of course this was in my late teens I think...

NOW, I find it doesn't really bother me. I've dated guys who shave their head since they were balding, and I've dated guys with receding hair lines. If you really love someone and are genuinely interested in them, it's a non-issue.

              Which would you rather have:

-Regular looking guy with hair and a decent body

-Bald regular looking guy with muscles!

My Dad is bald on top with a fade on the sides and has women falling all over him.

I wouldn't worry about going bald yourself. There are plenty of procedures you can undergo to remedy this if it bothers you that much.

I wish I had less hair...shaving is the bane of my existence.

Honestly it would depend on the guy. A hot body is nice, but an average body isn't bad either really. It really depends on the guy's personality ultimately. I might fawn all over someone at first because they're hot, but if they are a jerk, I'm not going to stick around just because they happen to be attractive.

and I agree with OTYA. If you're worried about it, there are PLENTY of procedures and things you can do to fight it

i think it's more about the total look than one thing like if you are balding or not. the goatee thing may work well on you.

or you could ask a couple of your female friends and see what they say. try growing out the goatee, mustache, or full beard and get their opinions.

but in the long run you are always better off doing what you feel most comfortablw with. if you like being clean shaven, you'll feel more comfortable and probably more comfortable as well.
