Other people outside of our relationship would say things. Not in a negative way though. In my case, age was just a number.
relationship is more that just listening to the same type of music or having the same hobbies.
clearly, your relationship didn't last. Even if you wanted to be with her, I'm sure it was her who wanted to not be with you anymore because I'm sure everyone wants to stay with someone around their age.

So, I guess you didn't catch on to the gist of my post. When you speak of age differences, people generally say because of the age gap, there can't be anything relatable to with those two people. In my case when it came to relatable things, there were no problems. The relationship didn't last 5+ years because of our similar tastes in music or hobbies.

As far as the relationship ending, it was on a mutual basis. We're still friends to this day. It had nothing to do with me being too young, or her being too old. That would then completely negate the whole point of posting "age was just a number".

I have to strongly disagree with you.Not EVERYONE wants to be with someone there own age.I actually refuse to date the men my age, simply because I like men who are level headed and mature.Compatibility has nothing to do with age difference.Compatibility is when two people click, when the sparks fly,not when ages are told.I stand to my opinion when I say age is just a number.

I agree that age is just a number.... I prefer dating men a few years older...i find im more compatible with them. It comes down to what preferences you have but as long as its not illegal it shouldnt be a problem. People of any age have personalities and qualities age only defines how long you have been around for....not who you are
