      that my mom said she isn't ready to meet him and he said he doesn't want to meet her. I laughed and asked why and he said because it is awkward.
      Think people are getting a tad confused and think you don't want to introduce him

      It is awkward... Especially seeing as you told him she wasn't ready

      I agree, time is not an issue, the longer you two go out together, the more she will see that he's a stayer and loves her daughter, don't stress over time.

      Like I said, you may be 19, but I reckon she is more in fear over, OMG, my little girl is growing up and um, sex comes into it... Mum's have a hard time, I remember, acknowledging that side and when they look at the boy, their mind is thinking

      I'd talk about him though, the nice things he does, etc, so when she does meet him she will have formed some sort of an idea of how well he has treated you, respected you..
