What kind of body figure on a women does a man like the most?

I know I hear a lot of guys say that they like women with a curvy figure,
like a pear shape/ hourglass figure...but I was wondering are they just as
into women with ruler figures/ straight up and down, narrow body figure as
they are into women with curvier figures?

and I am narrow but I look a little toned even though I don't work out, is that a good thing?

Men are visually stimulated, that is to say, we look at all figures. For me, as long as the woman.......who am I kidding, you all have something that appeals to me. Sorry collegegirl that probably doesn't help much.

P.S. If that is you in the picture, you don't have anything to worry about.
I am happy because I am content with who I am. My wife is not responsible for my happiness, she enhances my happiness because she is so good to me.

This is like asking what are women attracted to in a man. We are all different. What ups my heart rate may leave you absolutely nonplussed. I mean I've been just twitter patted for over two years over a not very tall, balding, middle aged man. We're down to being freinds and the very few men that I have felt a passing interest in are also +40 and would probably leave most of you younger ladies yawning (well not all but...)
The point is that the range of human attraction is huge.
It isn't just men who are visual and men aren't just visual.

Different men like different things. I like a woman with a healthy weight, average height, small to medium breasted. Someone who is happy and fun to be with over-rides any appearance issues.

          Hi Collegegirl
I think you look cute in the pictures you've posted on here so nothing to worry about. I suggest you believe you are cute (not in an aragent way) this will help you get.

I have two preferences: Younger slim small and perky ("someone to look after and protect")or Older with a curves and a slighty bigger bust ("Lioness to protect my cubs"). I know this opens me up to alsorts Freudian comments but you did ask

I always say "looks make you go there and personality makes you stay"

Apparently we are looking for geonetically and physicaly fit specificmens to bere our children. Not sure if I agree but healthy (physically and mentally) is helpful :-)

Some guys will not approach or go out with SUPER HOT women, no matter how nice, 'cos It is stressful and "shes out of my league" and other men.

Agree. For many, it's not just the visual. It's the overall impression.

All kinds depending on the activity involved. If she is too fat or too thin to "keep up" then she is not someone i WOULD FIND ATTRACTIVE. Strength of personality and will are vital. MOVIE STAR (FAKE) is NOT attractive...I don't have time or interest in being "MR.BEAUTIFUL" and have no time for someone who is more concerned with their appearance than their performance.

collegegirl, there guys out there who like every category of body shape that women come in. Some like skinny, some like fat, some like big boobs, some like flat, some like curvy, some like narrow, etc. Personally I like an Asian body style which usually means narrower hips and a smaller bust. So your body figure is perfect for me.

What is more important for compatibility is personality. I would rather have someone who's body style is quite different than my preference but who's personality I loved and found both compatible and intriguing than one who had the perfect shape but to me was the ice princess. I know that if I fall in love that my ideals will change to include my lover, but a bad personality is just bad.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
                ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

Psychological research shows that the hourglass shape is most correlated to perceived beauty. Waist sizes that are 70% of hip size is considered a "classical" ideal ratio which also surfaces in this kind of research. Though as pointed out there are SO many other factors that influence a person's individual preference that it is unfair to ask such a specific question.

In fact, women and men literally see different things when looking at the female form. A woman when looking at herself will typically zero in on her perceived "flaws", magnify them and not spend much time -- if any -- appreciating the strengths of her body. Conversely, a man looking at her will take in the full view and typically completely miss minor flaws because he is admiring the total scene.

baja is one smart dude. he hit it right on. I once went on 3 dates with a girl, and did not notice until the end of date three that she was missing her left pinky. But man did she have the biggest most beautiful brown eyes I had ever seen. I did make it up to her by putting a ring on the finger next to it. lol
