I think it helped that instead of feeding into it and acting like it didn't bother me and really expressing what i felt .. it freaked him out! i basically told him that i'm not someone that can just be pushed around.. those insecure controllers love a woman to drool over their every word! I just can't do that. I can't be controlled.. being constrained in anyway freaks me out! i like to get out and do whenever.. i guess when i get into a situation where i feel i have no control it just hits me like "Duh.. you hate this what are you doing" It's just nice to have a bunch of completely anonymous non-biased people to talk to.. i love my friends, i have some really great friends.. but it's nice to get some outside fresh opinions!

For you sake, I hope you don't hear back from him. And if you do, I hope you're strong enough to ignore his attempts at contact. As a woman, it's always important to follow your instincts. And in this case, your instincts were strongly telling you this wasn't the right guy for you.

Stress comes enough on it's own......there's no need in creating it for yourself.

Stick to your guns girl. You've got it goin on!!!

I'm hoping that he's too butt hurt to text me back now haha! it would only make him look silly at this point.
I don't believe i've followed my instincts once in my entire life.. I"m usually a jump right in kind of girl this time though i really had some eerie gut feelings.. and really it helped to have the proverbial slap that you gave me!!

ALSO! I don't know how much people read into horoscopes but i check mine every so often just to see if it even touches.. anywhere near my life which is obviously rare.. but here is todays..

Feel free to let it all out today, Pisces. It's finally your turn to stand up and say what you feel. Don't let others push you into places you don't want to be. The key is to probe deeply with your penetrating mind and share your incredible insights with others. Don't be surprised if your actions cause some tension. Don't let this stop you from doing what you feel is right

Ohhhh, that's eery! Sometimes, I think the "stars" align just right and even if for a brief moment we get validation that where we are is where we need to be even though things might get thrown in our paths. Those things that get thrown in your path are like the squirrel that runs out in front of your car as you're driving down the road. You don't want to stop and put it in the car with you........But you don't want to hit it....so you swerve and do your best to avoid it without hurting yourself in the process.

He was just a squirrel. You know where you need to be right now.

k8mt, I think you've made a wise decision about this guy. Honestly, a guy who's THAT sweet to you and "really into you" after only knowing you (over the internet) for two days...ehhhh that just gives me the heebie-geebies, personally.

I don't think it's that you're not used to sweet guys...it's just that, in my experience, guys who are THIS ridiculously sweet in so short a time usually want something from you. Or they're insecure scary guys. In either case, I'd say RUUUUNNN!! Beware of "nice guys" - they're no better than the jerks, in my opinion. There's a difference between a nice guy and a GOOD guy. Nice guys are acting nice because they have an agenda...they're likely to drop the act after getting what they want. Good guys are just that - good. They don't try to rush into things, they don't try to flatter you to make you like them. They're just themselves, and they know that's all they need to be.

You're doing an amazing job balancing work, school, and getting healthy and fit - I have read one of your other threads and I'm impressed that you can juggle all of that and still have your sanity! You're not naive, or dumb - don't be so hard on yourself. I'm pretty sure the majority of us - both the men and the women here - have been in a similar situation.

                Keep on truckin'.

Yeah i think i'll just need to let it happen! I have a lot going on right now and i'm sure if i was supposed to also have the man of my dreams then he'd be here knocking at my door and i've come to realize that i'm totally okay with the fact that he's not! I'm only 24 i have time! And i really don't want to be with a guy that just wants to be with someone.. And honestly i get so irritated with men half the time that i don't know why i wanted on to disrupt my flow! I'm a go anywhere do anything kind of girl and if i end up settled down with someone in this town or state before i've really had a chance to explore then i'm only hurting myself!

Thanks, ManINeedCoffee! Sometimes you need a constant reminder that you do have it together and things are just fine
