    I feel for you... the NOT KNOWING for sure is probably more frustrating than knowing something ANYTHING and being able to deal with it. I've been there and I can totally sympathize with you. If you can find where the picture is on the computer (not pulling it up from the photo program you were using) right click on it and click on properties... there in the properties it will say specifically: Date created, Date Accessed, Date Modified and it will tell you the dates. Everytime the photo is accessed or modified the date will change to the most recent date... BUT the date created won't change no matter if it was created on another computer, sent through e-mail etc... the date created is the date the photo was scanned, downloaded, transfered from camera onto a computer and saved as for the very first time. If you NEED to know to put your mind to rest it's as simple as that. Make sure prior to looking you are prepared for the truth whatever it maybe... some say ignorance is bliss.
