I don't know if roman porn was "amateur". They certainly had professional prostitutes, don't know of the makers of pornographic "art" were pros - but I suspect they were.

I am also uninterested in the plastic bodies of pro porn, but to each their own.

I had the same problem with my ex. But after I moved in, the sex stopped completely and he was never interested in me. He was always oggling other ladies and constantly watched porn and there were times where it sounded like he was having a little fun with himself. one night I watched him for a couple minutes and he was downloading porn movies to his computer, he was up till 5am. I told him about it and he tried to lie and say he wasnt, when I even saw him watch one. LOL so after a year of living with him and his addiction to porn and his refusal to be intimate with me, I decided it was me he wasn't interested in. I felt like , I felt so useless. He didn't want to go on a date with me, didn't want to spend time with me and of course be intimate with me. so I can see why this bothers you.

Of course, what if he just viewed the porn when you weren't home? I don't think its appropriate for a man to view porn when they have a woman living with them. If the relationship is content and sex is great then he should want to be with you, not with himself masturbating to porn. I know how you feel though, I really do and it sucks.

So I take it he never admitted his addiction or tried to change?

I totally agree that there should be no reason to watch porn when the couple is living together - you always have the real thing available! And if they're choosing porn over their wife who is more than willing, then there are issues.

I agree. If a man watches porn when you're at the store or a friend it only tells me he was waiting for an opportunity to do so. Even more so if it's repeated behavior and he shows no interest in sex. Porn can be fun in healthy relationships, watched together as foreplay, to give you new ideas when you have none, but there are men who approach it like having an affair: I want variety and I want it alone.

Even if these guys do change and stop watching it they will still be bad in bed. Too much porn makes bad lovers.

True, but porn isn't just bad for a couple, it is bad for society as a whole. Never tolerate it from a partner.

I agree that it does affect their expectations and responses. I dealt with it for over 2 years, he started out as a wonderful lover and ended up a cold, impersonal man who treated my body more like a fleshlite than, me as a woman with feelings.

First: u should take a "shower" with him, its pretty exciting... second: u just said he told u he wasnt going to do that anymore, well believe him!! A relationship is based on trust n respect!!! How ever, i think theres nothing wrong with him looking porn, i still prefer my bf to spend time with me than watching PORN (what for me is almost trash*)... my bf used to watch lots of porn but since we began to date he stoped!!!!!
