You're only young mam....time does make a difference remember, the rule is apparently we are 4 years mentally older than men, because we have children early in life, in the oldern days way early It's in our genes to be more responsible in thinking we grow up too fast really.

You are both young and even though you love each other, you each have a great deal to learn and experience in life still. Are you and he still in school? University?
You will both do so much growing, developing and changing in the next few years that one day you will look back at the people you are now and say, "we were so young!"
Can you be friends for now and see how that friendship grows while you both have other friends and learn and explore more of what life has to offer? Then when you are ready to settle down in marriage you can re-examine and see if you still want be together.
