    question about height

Hi everyone. Just have a quick question. My girlfriend has had three relationships. All of the guys have been over 6ft. Between 6ft and 6ft2. She is 5ft5. do you think a nine inch difference in height is a lot? Or is is relatively common. I mean between her and her tallest ex. And do you think she'd notice a huge difference in me since I'm only 5ft10?

I don't think that difference in height is a lot. I've always been about 8 inches shorter than the guys I've been in relationships with and they're your height. I don't see why it would really matter to her on the difference in height unless she was extremely attracted to men over 6 feet tall, but even then if it was an issue I don't think she would be in a relationship with you to begin with. I wouldn't worry about it too much, she should like/love you for you and not your height. And besides you are only 2 inches shorter than the shortest of her previous relationships, it's really not much of a difference, at least to me.

I see the issue is rearing its ugly head again, huh... For your own sanity and that of your girlfriends, get over it, please. If anything, you are going to drive her away with your insecurities.

Go back and reread ALL the responses to your previous threads. Height does not make a difference!!!!! Who cares? Whether her past boyfriends were 2 inches taller than her or two feet, it does not matter.

If it was an issue she wouldn't be with you.

I'm really wondering if her previous relationships were weird - I mean a really short girl (5ft 5), with a really tall guy (6ft 2)
Nine inches just seems like a big difference.

                Good morning!
5'5" is just about exactly average height for an American woman. Where do you get really short out of that?
5'10" is just about exactly average height for an American male, so where do you get that you are "only" 5'10"?

You are both just about exactly average height.

it just weirds me out that she was with such big men before me, that's all. She's just so tiny compared to them.

If anything, more of a height difference makes some things more difficult, like kisses and hugs etc, if the difference is huge even sex can be awkward in certain positions. Overall though height really does not matter. I have dated guys from a few inches shorter than me to nearly a foot taller, and it did not affect the relationship in any way shape or form.

If you are really having so much trouble getting over your insecurities you should seek counseling. If anything is going to negatively impact your relationship, it's that, NOT your height or penis size or anything else about your body.
