I have a custom ordered foam bed anyway. It is tons cheaper to get custom cut foam direct from the manufacturers than finished mattresses and there is no real difference except that if you order different layers with different firmness you have to glue them yourself or put it in a fitted sheet to prevent sliding. Then I made a platform frame for it out of 2x6s and plywood that was laying around. My custom designed bed cost me a couple $100 instead of a couple $1000.

It's good. Very good. But my jealousy doesn't help things very much, that's for sure. When I'm with her, I often think about her with them and it really gets to me. It makes me think differently of her.
