all dating sites are generally the same, imo. i actually found more deceptive people on paid sites but i am sure that is not always the case. i was coming off of a twenty year marriage and i missed the companionship i use to share with my husband. i wanted to be married and i was very upfront with all the men i met about who i was and what i was looking for. i live way out in the country and the nearest town was very small and i could not find a quality date. so i gave online dating a try. i dated lots of men. the first date was always in a public place usually for coffee and chat. i went thru many duds but finally found the second love of my life. he is the most wonderful man. i would have never met this man had it not been for the dating web site. but i would have never married him if i had not taken a chance and got to know him. its like a blind date. sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. just be very careful. -
Speed dating seems to be a better idea where you can assess the person's body language and overall vibe. Online dating has a lot of characters, but you have to weed the ones that are decent. My general rule (you don't have to follow this) is that people that e-mail forever with no mention of meeting up are a waste of time. Some people that wink and don't say anything can be time-wasters."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment
