I have been with my husband since I was 18. It wasn't love at first sight and in fact, my coworkers had to trick me into a date. I was ****ed because I flat out said I didn't want to date him, or anyone really.

I don't think you should settle, but if you're never able to find someone worth your desire to date you should evaluate what is realistically available and adjust accordingly.
