      you have to approach him..you should be a good friend of him..because relationship is start with the friendship. so my suggestion is that you should be a good friend of him.

        My boyfriend and I are both naturally very shy. We were sort of thrown together when we had a tough class together and several people formed a study group in order to survive. So we were together first in a group, which made things much more natural and not forced. We discovered we liked each other and had common interests besides the class. Before long we sort of spun off of the group, and things developed from there. We're still both shy but we still have a very intimate and loving relationship, so it is possible.

        based on my experience, I think finding common interests and starting by meeting in a group are the ways to make it non-threatening and non-demanding.
