I just read a poll on the internet that says 80% prefered the average guy. Is it really that important in emphasis?

Looks vs Size
I hope that this does not violate the terms of the forum, but i am wondering about this. Would you prefer a good looking guy with one inch less than the norm (5.6 inches) or an average looking guy with one to two inches more than the norm?

I doubt 1" difference would even be noticeable.
I would rather ask would women prefer a good looking guy with 4" or an average looking guy with 7"
I'm guessing the answer would probably be the good looking guy. I'm sure a hot guy would arouse a woman so that 4" would do the job, as opposed to a guy that the woman really isn't into physically except for the size of his tool.
Heck, I don't know. Any women want to chime in?Pigeonholer extraordinaire!Comment

Says the woman who's man has a 9 1/2" toolPenis size isn't as important as men make it seem to be. 1 inches isn't going to make a huge difference. When you love someone you love the whole package (no pun intended). Their looks, their body, their size and shape... I think sometimes men are more vain about penis size than women are!

Where does chemistry come from between two people?
We don't see thy penis, straight away, well on most accounts.
I think quite frankly, a real woman likes the conversation, attitude, person's thought pattern and then, she likes him. On most accounts, he becomes very attractive to "her" as a result and the more she sees him the more attractive he becomes.
Then she sees thy penis, and it's not important it's a penis, not the person.. It only becomes "important" if there is no bond there, no chemistry whatsoever.
So I am not sure how you can compare looks to a penis.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Chandler's Wish.
I think we have to distinguish "chemistry" vs simply a booty call. It seems to me, at least particularly with men, that in their 20's they are specifically looking for booty calls with women. So these men want to be at the max sexual attractiveness to a woman.
I wonder if there's some specific wiring that causes this. I'm pretty muscular, but I usually don't show it off like other guys (wearing tank tops and tight shirts). Most of the time when I dress business casual, I get zero attention from women because I look "bulky" but not muscular.
Sometimes if I'm going out I'll put on something tighter, and the attention and stares from women goes up like 500%
So I would imagine that on a primal level, the same way that a nice body gets attention, having a larger unit is like icing on the cake.
When we talk about "chemistry", we are talking about emotional compatibility. When I met the girl I'm seeing, I was dressed conservatively. She's a bit overweight, like maybe 30lbs and I remember we chatted a little about that, and she said something like "I don't really care about what the guy looks like", in a way that I think she thought I was overweight as well, due to my bulkiness. So she really started liking me because of the way I treated her. The first time we were physical and I took my clothes off, she got a bit of a shock and said "wow you work out right?" so with a big smile on my face I said "yup", so now she wants me to help her lose weight.
Clearly looks matter, and if I had a pretty large package down there, she'd probably have done the same thing "wow you're big down there" but I don't.
I'm sure that in the context of a really hot guy vs an overweight balding guy, and the hot guy had a 4" tool, while the average guy had an 8" tool, most women would pick the hot guy, since for both men and women, it's the body type that triggers arousal, and not just the penis/vagina
However, a hot guy with 8" and a good personality would be like winning the lottery for a woman. It would kind of be like a guy finding a really fit curvy hourglass shaped woman with a large chest, and a down to earth personality.

I think you are looking at the wrong thing. I had a male friend who was not particularly physically attractive, but had a sort of personality and manner that women found very appealing. It was amazing - everywhere he went he would end up in happy animated discussions with women. My wife even said that there was something undefinable, but just very appealing about this guy - he was just fun to be around and to talk to. I'd trade that ability (talent? magical power?) any day for mere size of physical equipment.
Over the years I've gotten much better at talking with women. I'm married now so I'm not hitting on them, but I really wish I had been better at this when I was dating.Comment

rcoreyus, having an extroverted personality wether you are a man or woman does wonders. I think open people are seen as more fun. Everyone wants to be with someone fun.
If you enjoy being with someone and have fun with them, I think looks becomes a secondary thing. The problem is that there's a balance in how much extrovert you can be that isn't a turn off.
Usually guys that feel unattractive (short, overweight, etc) find it really hard to be extroverted, so they disappear into the cracks and are never noticed by women.
On the other hand, really good looking guys who know it, usually will go the other way around and act very cocky, and too much of that might be a turn off for women.
But looks matter. A guy who is only average but extroverted is likely to be able to get someone on his level of looks. He won't be able to get a stunning hot woman though unless he's got something else (a ton of money for example)
However, a dude who is hot, buff, has a bigger than average tool, **and** has the right amount of extrovert, that would be an unstoppable dude.Pigeonholer extraordinaire!Comment
