Talk_time: I'd never thought about it that way, but the low self-esteem issue might be very important. Suggests that treating your spouse with respect and building their esteem might be a better defense against cheating than trying to check up on them.

      I think women

I think women cheat more has someone said earlier they have more opportunity than men. Women are constantly hit on by men, and not every man has the courage to ask women out randomly like some casanovas plus their are more women than men.

Whether its at bars, parties,or social events there always seem to be 5 guys for every girl even though there are many more women in the population not sure why that is. I am sure their are women casanovas just has their are men don juans who date like 4 people at once but the don juan types I agree get more opportunites than the average joes and most men are not don juan types hence overall women have much more opportunity to cheat.

        from a females perspective

women.....definetly. Like anon said........ist easier for women to get away with because even though its bad....women are better liars. Plus as its been mentioned, we do get many opportunities for it to happen because no matter how a woman looks, she gets hit on multiple times a day.

          I never cheated on any.

So in my scenario i would therefore have to say men

well I had one girlfriend cheat on me, a fiance at age 20 (who I dumped) and another fiance at age 27 (we later got married) cheat on me, but I've never been able to cheat - even though I was given the opportunity. So maybe it's women based on the formula cited above?

Hey No1.. Welcome by the way...

            Are you still married?

            Curious...

And I often wonder why they cheat... What type of people we are attracting into our lives and why we accept.

You dumped the first Fiance but accepted the second?

May sort of assist if you give a bit more info, that's if you feel like it.

              Hi there,

yes I am still married, and the situations were a little different. the first one happened after we had been engaged for quite awhile. the second happened just before we got engaged but I didnt learn about it until shortly before the wedding. so why I went on anyway is an easy guess. i was ! lol

                  OUCH, That was harsh!

actually and unfortunatley we arent. it was just the begining of a long line of secrets, undependability, and not keeping her word. but theres not much changing that now. this wasnt supposed to be about me but i will make a suggestion for anyone else. the indicators were there from the beginning and I just wasnt ready to believe them. if you see something you dont like or think you cant live with, dont believe it will really change.

Once people hit about 25 years old, they are who they will be for the rest of their life. Barring any kind of significant emotional life changing event.

You read it wrong The Forum deletes words and it looked like you missed one, i was making light for you.

And, I didn't know you broke up, it sounded the opposite so i was saying, well it happened way before you got engaged, you found out before you got married and chose to accept and continue, good for you, i really hope you live happily ever after, seeing as you chose to respect what happened.

Now back to the thread, hope I cleared that up ouch, I'm not nasty ask anyone honest.
