I am 6'6" and lean. I lie when women ask and say 6'4" or 5". I am sure I am too tall for a lot of women but for the most part since my body is all proportional I think it is OK.

        Lot's of 5' 8's around i feel....

        I'm 5'7 and 1/2 but i say 5'8 it's easier.

Loooove high heels... and being taller..

My ex-husband was "supposidly" 5'10 (cough), seeing as we were the same height back to back no shoes on

There is a stigma to me, either same height, tad shorter, cute, taller (scary) but nice.

Irrespective, either way, it's never bothered me but i still wore the high heels

Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman :- Never ever seemed to bother the guy, only a few inches taller........

You have about a half an inch on me. I'm 5'7.

It is good to see women who do like the shorties. -_-

That and I think a woman in heels is hawt. Open toes.....nice

Tho I am short. I don't have one of those Napoleon complexes.

Tho adding a couple of inches would be a good thing.

            another 5' 8" here.
My ex hub was 5'8" as well. Never got into wearing heals.
Last long term relationship he was 5'10" and built like a brick sh**house. Stocky. Kinda of different since ex hub was lean. My current partner is 6'2" and lean but not scrawny. Height really isnt an issue for me, really no preference but I do kinda like having to stand up a bit taller to get a kiss or a hug. Weights not much of an issue either except I find that I don't really care for scrawny. Lean is one thing but...

I don't think there is an ideal height but I on't think I would feel that comfortable with a guy who was way shorter than I am.

I am 5'7" and a half and most of the guys I have dated have been just slightly taller than me. I don't make this stop me from wearing heels, which make me usually slightly taller than them because in a way the tallness next to them makes me feel sexy and no complaints from any one so far lol.

If there was a significant hight difference though I would prefer them to be taller than me not shorter. height isn't a main criteria I would consider in a guy, most other things are much more inportant.

I prefer same size as me, sometimes other sex positions can be difficult which very tall men. I had an ex who was very tall & we couldn't do some of the positions I like because of his height. So same size as me allows almost all positions

I'm 5'4" and I perfer a guy taller than me for sure. My boyfriend is 5'10" and I love it. I feel so much smaller and feminine. I do want to feel like my man can protect me if needed. I like to feel safe. Silly maybe but that's how I feel.

It's funny how this works, the taller women wouldn't mind a short guy but a shorter girl would. Which I agree as well, im only 5'0, and my bf is 5'11 so basicly his a whole foot taller than me but he likes it and so do I haha, I need to ensure my children's genes lol
I think it all depends on what women like and what they feel comfortable with

Very interesting topic. I am 5'7" tall. I have dated girls anywhere from 4'10" tall to nearly 6'. I don't consider myself to be overly smart, but one smart thing I did was that I never let any "height" issues mean anything to me. If I liked a woman, I would ask her out. I got turned down a lot, but I went out on a LOT of dates. I always had ample dates/girlfriends, etc.
I ended up getting married to a girl about 1/2" shorter than me. The nice thing about this is how well we "fit" together! It goes for everything. Really nice...things you wouldn't really think about. Like we can have sex standing up. "69" is great and fun for both of us (sorry for being so blunt)! We can kiss without stretching anyone's neck, and it's really nice to hug a girl who's approximately your same height. Our seat and mirror adjustments in the car are EXACTLY the same. Isn't that awesome? I don't know that I ever dated a girl before my wife who was in the same height range as myself, but I do truly love it. It's niceeee.
