I didn't really like them at first, and I remember thinking it was like having sex on an ice rink, albeit warmer.... I dunno, somewhere down the line I came to love it, and maybe I learnt how to grip better ...

"Once you have a set of silk sheets you probably will not to want to ever sleep on anything else. Most people say that. There is nothing quite like the sheer comfort of being caressed by silk sheets as you gently drift off to sleep for the night, which is a very big deal indeed."

Cotton sheets? None for us thanks! ;-)

CW... Yes they are expensive. Between $250 and up to $400 (US) for a get set. If its less its satin sheets and trust me.... Its NOT the same.

I'm with Phoebee on the idea that the bedroom should be a temple of sensuality. Haven't tried silk sheets, can understand why you wouldn't wash them in a top loader but I bet a front loader on the hand wash setting would do fine. Don't like satin, it's doesn't breathe and is too slippery, they always slide off the bed and can give you static elec. For cotton, no blends they get a nasty chemically smell after a while, have to be 100% and a good high thread count. White shows too much, I have some but prefer burgundy or a deep green. You have to go with what works for you. Feather pillows (run them through the dryer to keep them fresh), a down comforter with a nice duvet, a reading lamp is good but also something much more subdued and plenty of choices in candles. I like burgundy and gold in the bedroom, lots of wood, a feeling of comfort and luxury. It should be a place to sink into and relax or have fun. Your bedroom should never be associated with your work, it should be your retreat, the place where you recharge and reconnect.

I've never liked waterbeds, the old bags of water were awful for sex or sleep. The only time they were really any fun is if you take off all the bedding, wipe the mattress down, make sure the liner is in place and pour a bottle of oil over it. It's too slippery for sex really but a lot of fun!

I'm reminded that we DO have pictures in our bedroom. But they are all of us. Lots of wedding photos and the rest of the walls are covered with Art. I have to admit the effect on DH to not have "All these grandparents staring at us" has been great! The bedroom for a married couple should be about 'sex' I think. And on the same note DH said that lingerie and what I wear to bed should at least consider the idea. ;-)

Has anyone else just told their husband "Here are my sizes get some stuff for me that you would like?" I was very happily surprised what he got (Not too tacky) and frankly I hate buying underwear... Now he buys most of mine and I let him adore me even more! ;-)

                Erm...

There was a chain which hung off the hips around the waist, with a silky black fabric 'skirt' hanging from it, but without fabric on each side from the waist to the knee.... So it was like a long skirt crossed with.... loincloth? Whatever a sexier version of that word is. Case being from the front there was no fabric on the hips. I bet you can't understand what I've described.... but it's (was) pretty sexy in a high priestess sort of way heheh.

I was going to do a matching chain top too, but never got round to it.

Now I think about it, I don't even have a picture of it, and the ex has probably thrown it away Oh well. Make it better next time ...

                  PLEASE EXPLAIN....

If people got it that would have said, yeah, I got it?

                  Mmm.. Me confused

                    Bleh, not explaining it again...

Just keep reading the original, and if it doesn't make sense give up.

Hey who cares where the chain came from, there was some black satin fabric involved which relates to the sheets. That boy is talented more than we know. Keep up girl haha mwah xx
