The rest is on your control. He felt the other woman's vulnerability, and he is a man who wants to fix and protect. She is very sensitive at this point, and would truly cling on to anyone who gets close to her radius - trust me - I was once like her, not intentionally.

Your husband did the right thing of telling you about it, and you gave him that supportive stance no matter how painful it is. Stop blaming and coming back unto that issue and try very hard to move on. This is just the beginning, and it will be a long journey for both of you. Trust is very hard to mend and regain.

Make sure that you know your husbands love languages (read the Five Love Languages for couples - by Gary Chapman). It is imperical that you speak his language so that he feels loved and connected to you. As you go through therapy, this book can also help you explore each other's love languages and you will be able to keep your love tank full.

Take care of yourself. Keep yourself fit and healthy especially now. Try to be more active to keep your mind off the pain that his actions have caused you. You can talk to any of us here. You are welcome to send us visitor's messages and private messages. xx

I am sorry for your husband's behavior. The question is whether he wishes to continue seeing this woman. Does he want to leave you? If he does then as the mother you keep the "domain." He goes away.
      Have you considered counseling?
Sometimes men act weird and the hormones kick in. They are attracted to women naturally. Some men can control their urges, others can't. When an opportunity arises, sometimes men act on isolated incidences. Perhaps this is what your husband did.
Anyway, communication is important, especially now that the incident is fresh.

Let's see what your husband wants to do.

I am sorry dear. It does seem like things are mot looking good. At this point the best thing I can say to you is you should look out for yourself. Reading through all your posts it seems like he isnt even making an effort at all toward making it up to you but simply making things easier for himself. I wish for your sake that this will not be the case, but somehow, I am afraid things are not looking good for your situation.
