I think it is cheating. Him having female friends is ok BUT kissing and touching etc is considered cheating in a sense b/c it's not with you. If he claims its not cheating then why did he hide it from you in the first place. I bet he would not have admit to anything if you havent questioned it... And since you both been together for some time, i know it can be hard to just breakup. ask yourself, would this happen again? this will always be at the back of your mind when he is not with you. u want to be secure about the relationship not insecure. -
Ask yourself this: if you were around watching him, would he still have done what he did? To me, cheating is doing something with someone that you wouldnt do in front of your significant other. If he did it once, he'll do it again..... just keep that in mind, should you decide to take him back.Comment

He was trying to undo her pants... and that's not cheating? I don't see why you should even consider whether it is or not. He kissed somebody else and had his hands all over her. He's attracted to her and obviously this will lead to sex sooner or later. What would he say then? That he only loves you and what he did with her was only physical? ]
Of course he cheated. Totally agree with Ravsoma's post.Comment

The fact that if she didn't stop him, he most likely would have had sex with her doesn't make him think its cheating? He's just trying to make things better with you by convincing you its not cheating. To me, anything that can lead to sex is cheating. A kiss, a touch...whatever. If the thought is in your mind that you want to explore then your cheating to me. I'm sorry you have to deal with this but you so need to dump him in my opinion. first for cheating, second for lying about it and third for being such an idiot. Ask him if he would be ok with you making out and trying to undo his friends pants. Also, the friend is not much of a friend if she let this happy 3 times. I can see him kissing her once. She could have been shocked by it but 3times?

That is definitely cheating. I wouldn't give him another chance. The fact that he tried to undo her pants I think shows that he would have taken it to the furthest point possible, sex. How would you feel if she had let him and they did have sex? Would that be just as "excusable?" You also said that HE kissed her and not the other way around (though it really doesn't matter seeing as how they were both into it) thing is, he initiated it. He lied. He cheated. When there isn't trust, there isn't a relationship. I say, give him up and find someone who won't treat you this way.Comment

I personally don't get all these guidelines as to what's cheating and what should be cause to leave an So and whats' not. Would he be ****ed if you had done the excact same thing? Did it not hurt you and make you feel like ? Relationships are not about hurting, so if it is hurting you you should move on. Doesn't matter if what he did was cheating or not. My opinion is like everyone else's, if it is only meant for your SO and you do it with someone else it's cheating to me.“The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.†- William Arthur WardComment

He cheated on you plain and simple. My opinion is that when trust is out the window so is the relationship. What happens 6 months from now and he calls you and tell you he's going to lunch with his boys how would you react to that? Even if he's really goin with his boys that won't drive you crazy? Think long and hard about what you deserve and what you're being given.Comment
