I think you have a great thing there girl!! To me, that would be the least of my worries, especially if he 1) has a good job and can take care of his business, 2) takes care of u emotionally, spiritually, and all other ways possible, 3) he is just there for u..... I would just be thankful about all the other things u do have and share in common with each other! Afterall, it is very hard to find someone that fits those qualities these days!! -
I actually agree with OTYA.. It's the gift, and when a man buys something, he's just as excited as you are when you buy them something..Once, he tried buying me a bracelet for Valentine's after I gave him one for New Year's eve. However, his gift looked too big for my taste. I was honest and told him it was too big for my wrist. We went back to the jewler to try to find a second choice. I couldn't find anything that I like within the same price range, so he returned it and kept the money.
I think your gifts should be heartfelt, a picture of you both together, memory, not "financial gift", he probably felt, horrid and so just took the money back, not knowing what to do.
He gives you "everything" you want out of a man that women would die for... Go for something that relates to your lives and tell him, to do the same.
Photo's / fun/ laughter. You have more than money can every buy.
