Texting is not much of an effort. He can do that with one hand while he has his tongue down someone else's throat. Now if he'd flow out in the middle of the night to help you out of a jam, left a meeting and driven clear across town to be with you then your dog got hit by a car, reroofed your house single handed, hiked 10 miles uphill in a blizzard to bring you your favorite bonbons - he might have an arguement for all the effort he's made.

Keep in mind the immortal words of Susan Jane Gilman, author of Kiss My Tiara, "Every idiot we go out with is one less idiot we risk spending our lives with."

Cross this one off your list, brush him off your shoulder, block his number, delete his email, buy yourself some flowers and bag of Dove dark chocolate Promises, take a nice long candle lit soak in the tub, put on a favorite flowy skirt, buy yourself some helium ballons and take them for a walk, put flowers in your hair, curl with Susan Jane's book and have a good laugh. Treat yourself lovingly and laughingly. You'll be amazed at how quickly your attitude can turn around.

Do. Not. Go. Cut off all contact and focus on yourself and your own happiness. This will never get better and you deserve much, much more. Do not go!

So glad to hear you are OK.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
          ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

It’s strange really and first you think that you love him actually because he comes in your life after ending one relationship. He said that he had a relationship too then why you spoiling your life with him by hearing those words. A relationship can move further when you both give respect to each other and trust blindly. I think you should think about it again.

Sweetie you have stand alone before you can walk, let alone run.
When we are hurt and just out of a relationship, we are vulerable and can be an easy mark for a predator. That's what you ended up with. Sometimes we call it being on the rebound. You need to cut ties and get yourself free and then give yourself time to heal. Get back on your feet and feeling happy with just you.
This guy is bad news and it is only difficult because you let it be. He isn't even there! If you cut off communication he can't bug you, he can't belittle you, he can't berrate you. When you really get him out of your life, you will start to feel much happier and more free to be yourself without all that judgement and manipulation going on.

You may think you love him but you are too vulnerable to judge that right now and you are in a state of emotional dependence which can really color your judgement. Just cut the ties, have a good cry and start having some fun without any blame or critisim.

I hate that my past controlling boyfriend had done nothing but control me and. I knew that it wasn't a healthy relationship in the first place so. I was lucky enough to get out of it without him noticing me not there by his side and. I was really a :-) woman after. I'd left and then he came back from the bathroom and then he started to get ****ed off and cursing where did she go and his friends said. I don't know where she went off to so then he started to say tell me where. Angela gone to and then it was turning bad so then. He left the party and got into his truck and left to come find me and he saw me with another man then he started to curse me out and then the other man that. I was talking to he said to me please wait inside my truck and start it and go to my house and. I'll be home soon so then it was awhile that. I had seen him so then it had me start to worry about my new guy and then. I was starting to say what the (edited )!! is he doing to my new man and then. I had got so bent out of shape and said that. I'm going to go back to the party and enjoy myself again.

He gave me an ultimatum, that I go there or it's over. I've let him down many times. I feel horrible, and I feel like it's all my fault.

He said he was sorry for wasting two years. I feel awful. I can't stop crying. I'm miserable. I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel like I should have bought the ticket and just gone.

I'm so upset and afraid that I've cost myself someone who really loved me. I feel so alone now. I just don't know what to do.

I don't see how you've let him down. He's manipulative and emotionally abusive, if you go there I think you will end up miserable and in a far worse situation than you are now.
Have your cry and then find something fun to do.
