Dating a married man...
I've fallen in love with a married man. He is the most wonderful and adoring guy I've ever met. He says he is going to leave his wife for me. Its so scary, but I know that all I want is to come out of it all with him still by my side. Is there anyone else out there? I feel so alone in it all. -
You've "fallen in love" with this wonderful, married man.
Why didn't the guy leave his wife before he got with you--since he's so "adorable"?
I bet he tells you his wife doesn't do this and she doesn't do that; their life is like this and it's like that....
and you've bought the line hook, line and stinker!
He's going to leave her... always GOING TO LEAVE HER.
All married men that have women on the side say they're "going to leave" the wife.
Have you ever heard the expression "it's cheaper to keep her"?
That means the married man is going to keep his wife, rather than divorce her. He wants to keep having his fun with YOU and keep up the look of a "happy family".
He's comfortable with the wife doing what she does at home with the kids and the house, while he also gets a woman on the side.
You should read some of Kaylar's posts on the subject.
If he DOES leave her for you, why wouldn't he do the same thing to you?
It's up to you what you do with this guy... but your on the outside looking in--ALONE.

You should read ALL of Kaylar's posts on the subject. And the women whose husbands have cheated but have never left them. And the women who have been the mistress for years and years who haven't ever seen him leave her.
I believe Kaylar had a 2-week rule. If the divorce proceedings don't start within 2 weeks of that promise, it's bull.
I'm 19 as well and my boyfriend is older ... he's 22 and we have problems with being in different parts of our lives. How do you relate to someone over the age of 40?
Please see the warning signs. Becoming disappointed in yourself when you realize he's used you is a much heavier price to pay than leaving a man you're infatuated with in the dust.
I was sort of waiting for someone else to respond before posting anything ... this topic's been done to death around here.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment

LOL * "this topic's been done to death around here."
Well, Little, I just said she should read SOME of Kaylar's posts on the subject because, I would think, that after reading ONE or TWO, she'd get the picture.
However, people are posting the same question... I don't think they're familiar with the posts Kaylar made.
Yeah, "done to death around here" about sums that up LOL

A woman had come to my office, complaining to my
secretary as to why the divorce was taking so long.
She wasn't a client, and my secretary asked her
'which divorce? who?" and she called a name...
"Mr. Husband"....
my secretary, annoyed said, "I don't know about any
divorce...." (which of course she shouldn't have done.)
Anyway, I called Mr. Husband and told him about this
loud abrasive female that had come to my office about
'his' divorce.
Mr. Husband was a business client for whom I've done
rather dry matters as contracts and land transfers.
He came to the office, told me that he'd been having
an affair with the woman for years and had told her
he was divorcing his wife, and as she'd seen him come
to my office, claimed I was looking about the divorce.
Subsequently, he told me he'd gone to the gal and
said that I'd quit his case because of her and now he
had to find another lawyer, and it wasn't going to be
easy.
Of course, he dumped the gal shortly after.

let that man go
Withoutyou,
You are not alone. There are alot of women who are in denial and acting the same way. I had, (notice I said had) this friend who was dating a married man, who she thought was the apple of her eye. Her husband was in Iraq. She thought this man loved her, no he loved what she was doing for him or giving to him (dumb ***). Why did his wife find out where she lived and confronted her? What did she do? She called me. Why would you want to be with someone who tells you Im divorcing my wife for you, but he is still running home to that wife that he is divorcing. He also said that he dosent want to marry her, he just wants to lay up with her. What does that tell you???

Withoutyou,
all the ladies offer some very good advice and good responses.
You see Kaylar dropped some knowledge on you...
follow that.
Look at the examples. 9 times out of 10, old married dude is just using you for what he can get OUT of you.
After he's tired of you, he'll find another girl (if he doesn't have one already--seeing that he's cheating on his wife WITH you, he'll cheat with even more women) and he will continue to do so.
Aren't you even concerned with the diseases floating around out there?
