    Lmao * you two.
Ok, so here's this for you .
    Fine
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Holy Geez! Could you help my boyfriend with that... sometimes (especially around that time of the month) I just need to cry. What creates the problem is when something very very small gets on my nurves at that time and I blow up about it. If he were to just stop talking all together and put his arms around me, lay with me or even sit with me I would be perfectly okay with crying it out then probably making love (if possible) just because it would make me feel so good that he supported me.

Men don't get the last word in any argument, women do; anything a man says subsequently is just the start of a new argument!

          FINE!

I cry when I don't want to because I get so frustrated. And it's a terrible cycle because I'm then frustrated that I've started to cry :////

I like this thread because it's both funny and informative, and that's ...

            Fine :P

If it is an argument then I do not say FINE, what I say is "mmhhmm", "uh huh", or "okay" or a combination of those. Those words mean know I am right you are wrong do not bother trying to justify anything you may have done to get yourself in this situation lol. I very seldom cry though, I am very good at keeping my emotions together. I just have this thing that I personally feel weak if I cry over miniscule things so I avoid crying as much as possible and if I do end up crying it is something that is very much a big deal.

If the situation is me feeling down or whatever I will say things are fine or okay but I never cry a river or anything because I simply do not want to cry. I am not one to even want or feel the need to pour out my emotions, "talk therapy" does not help me so l keep everything in and handle it myself. Just one of those people. I prefer if my bf is comforting me to not ask a single question and just have his arm on me.

It also depends on the woman's definition of "fine". I perceive it as very low. Ok, good, alright are all above "fine".

If you ask how a meal is, and they answer "fine", you'll believe that there is something wrong with the meal. So when I answer "fine", I am being honest that things are below the grade of all right, good, etc. If I say "I will be fine", it means I'm feeling extremely low. So when I personally answer with "fine", I am being honest. But unless the person really knows me, they won't pick up on all of this.

And I also don't yell in a fight. So me yelling "FINE!" would never occur. But once again, this is all on how I personally am.

When I say fine, it usually means I just need space to think things over. Or sometimes, depending on the conversation or argument leading up to it, it means, "whatever, I'm sick of your bs, I'm dropping it now but trust me, this ain't over!!" =)

I can't help but remember the scene in PRETTY WOMAN...Gere says to Roberts "that's three fines..can we have another word?" Roberts replies: "******* ..that's a word." Sums up the female use of the word in my experience.
