Getting back at girlfriend, was this cruel or funny?

OK, just want to give you some background as to what happened and want your advice. Sorry my post is pretty long.

While on a weekend mini vacation w/my GF, we got into a pretty big flight that was pretty heated. We were both mad at each other. (too long to get into details)

Even the next day (sunday) when we left to go home, i was still fuming and upset w her.

We left the hotel at 4 pm for a 4 hour drive home as we got a late start leaving.

I was in a rush to get home to watch my favorite show and didnt want to miss it at all. As we start the drive, my GPS is showing that we'll make it home 5 minutes after the start of the show.

About 30 minutes into the ride, my GF tells me that her stomach feels funny and that she needs to take a dump as she hadnt gone in three days.

It is at this moment that it occurs to me that i would be a GREAT idea to get back at her by refusing to stop and telling her to wait till we get home and to hold it in!!

I tell her that i'm flat-out not going to stop for her to poop as i'm teaching her a lesson from yesterdays fight and that she'll have to either to hold it till we get home . She is furious when i say this but i stick to my guns and don't stop as i believe she doesnt deserve the chance to take her dump now.

Additionally, i don't want to stop because we will be late for the show. To mess w/her even more i tell her that her mind is playing tricks on her and that she really doesn't need to take her stupid and needless crap.

She looks uncomfortable and fidgets and squirms around as time goes on. A half hour later she tells me that she REALLY has to poop badly and demands we stop. I tell her again that I am not stopping and that she'll have to hold it in until we get home. Now she is furious at me for denying her a toilet and looks very uncomfortable.

Now another hour later (still over 2 hrs from home) she tells me she is really desperate to crap and begs for me to stop. Again I tell her NO and that she doesn't deserve the toilet.

I also tell her she should think twice before disrespecting me again.

She continues to be very angry and defensive when I tell her this and another 20 min later she cant hold on anymore and she completely craps her pants and is embarassed and mad like crazy. The smell is just awful and I rush home faster.

I yell at her for losing control and messing up the seat of my car and she is really defensive and yells back at me. I go on to tell her that there is no reason why this had to happen and that it is inexcusable that she couldn't have held it in her for 3 hrs till we got home-----I mean its not gonna kill her to not crap for 3 hrs and that she needs to have better control.

So anyway, when we get home I run inside to catch the show which is in progress and make her clean out the car. Afterwards I am still upset with her after the show.

I guess I just dont understand WHY she had to crap at all in the first place?? Why was it even necessary for her to make such a mess to begin with? Frustrating.

So finally, what I want to ask all of you is, did i go too far in getting back at her for the fight we had the prev day?

I firmly believe i did nothing wrong and think she deserved this to happen to her, but i welcome others opinions who disagree with me.

    Thank you

From a girl's point of view, I didn't think your action was quite necessary and in fact made the past situation worse. Yes, even if the fight (idk the exact situation but..) was her fault, you fed the fire of the tension that was already building up. It is understandable that you may have been incredibly upset after all you've been through but the thing is do you want to work things out with you and your girlfriend? I think it would have been better for you to make an effort to work things out unless you really wanted to break up with her. Making her suffer biologically may have seemed funny and even ideal at the time but in the end, it doesn't solve the problem that caused all of your guys' fights.

P.S. even if you miss your favorite show, THAT'S WHAT THE INTERNET IS FOR!

I think you went way overboard in your actions. If I was her, I would call it quits with you.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

What you did that day in the car was total abuse. You should be ashamed of yourself, and she should leave you.

And I may be wrong in my assumptions here, but this is so far-fetched to believe a person would actually think such actions are warranted... this post stinks of troll.

Seriously???? Catching your favorite show was worth torturing your girlfriend. I'm thinking along the lines with KMonte85--troll. I can't imagine the self-respecting girl who would put up with that AND clean up the car while you catch your show. She would walk away from a misogynist like you and never look back.

          Definitely Troll

Total abuse? Why do you claim that? Why do you believe what i did was so out of line?

I just thought that her behavior earlier that day was totally uncalled for (too long to get into in this post) and based on that i thought (and still do think) that she didn't deserve to take her dump until we got home.

Why was that so out of line? Not trying to argue, just want to know why

I'm also guessing troll - because this is so far off the curve. On the off chance that it wasn't a troll: Do you think that humiliating someone you claim to love is ever a reasonable thing to do?

On the off chance that this isn't a troll:

All couples have disagreement and argue from time to time. That doesn't give a person the right to intentionally inflict pain upon their partner. We don't know what the arguement was about, but you say you told her you were going to teach her a lesson for disrespecting you. While being disrespectful can hurts one's feelings or ego, that does not cause physical trauma.

Who wouldn't be angry and embarrassed when their mate refused after HOURS of begging to stop and allow them to relieve themselves in a proper manner?? Who are you to determine whether she DESERVES to go to the restroom? Then you have the audacity to yell at her for having an accident, REALLY??

You need to get your priorities in order. Like Pollon stated, you think a show is more important than another persons well-being. People treat their pets better than you treated your girlfriend. If it had been me, your car would be stinking to the hilt because I sure as heck wouldn't have cleaned it up.

I'm not sure why you are asking why it was necessary for her to make a mess...BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T STOP FOR HER.

According to the title of your thread, you must have thought it was funny or you wouldn't have suggested such a thought. It takes a cruel, heartless person to do what you did. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be with someone who'd treat them this way. I hope she runs for the hills and doesn't look back.

after you told me the first time you wern't gonna stop for me to use the bathroom, i would have unbuckled myself, pulled my pants down and crapped on you. then when we got home, i would not have cleaned up the mess, the mess was YOUR fault cause you wouldn't stop, and then i would have left your sorry ....... it is ABUSE. you need help if you really did that.

He would have liked it. Someone who doesn't like crap wouldn't force another person to go in their car or come on here trying to stir it up.
