I think its the touching part that makes it cross the line from friendly to flirting. Touch takes it to a whole other level.

That's what I think, tbh. The touching part makes it seem more flirty, whereas with his friend of 2 years that is a girl, it's the way they speak to each other. It's strange that things have been better since she's away for 3 weeks and they're unable to talk much via text and Facebook, but that could be because I'm not moaning about it and he's paying more attention to me cos he's not constantly talking to this girl. Thing is, when she's back, I can't stop him from talking to this girl. They've been friends for 2 years and been through a lot, it's understandable, I just don't know how to go about the way he talks to her. As I've said, I don't purposely look at his messages, but when I've accidentally seen e.g. his phone is in front of me and it's lit up, I unintentionally look without thinking it's his phone, or he's on his Facebook in front of me and clicks the messages button and her chat is up in the list.

The whole flirty thing when we're out isn't so much the problem anymore. It's this friend of his, when she gets back from abroad and has access to her phone and internet again, things will go back to how they are and I'll get paranoid and eventually start to moan at him when I don't mean to.
