    Playing Possum

I was talking to one of my best girlfriends and she was telling me about an experience with a guy she likes. The guy is a strong Christian and doesn't want to have sex until marriage. My girlfriend and him have only been on a few dates together but there is a difference. The guy lives in another state and it turns out that my girlfriend is on vacation with friends in a nearby state. This guy drove to visit her one weekend and stayed at another hotel. They hit it off and after he got home, he invited her to come visit him at his home the following weekend. She went and had a blast.

She was telling me that one night they went out and partied until the wee hours of the next morning and when they went back to his place they lay on his couch, with him on the bottom and my friend on the top. They had all of their clothes on. This guy fell asleep and my friend began to thrust her vagina up against this guy's crotch. She would push, squeeze, pull way and then repeat. She did this until she had an orgasm.

As a woman I haven't done that in the past and was wondering how common doing that is? How common is it for a man not to want to have sex with a woman he is seeing or wait until marriage? What do other women do in this kind of relationship to satisfy their sexual urges?

    Combined with
She was telling me that one night they went out and partied until the wee hours of the next morning

The two statements together are very Contrary.
If he's a Strong Christian, I can't see him out " Partying until the wee hours of the Morning ".

Also she " Dry Humped him " and he never woke up ?This is unusual unless her was passed out Drunk . So then , if he was passed out Drunk and had already said he did Not want sex until married,... Then she Sexually Assaulted him .

I have a couple of questions...was this guy actually asleep as she was dry humping him? Unless he was literally unconscious, I can't imagine he was really a sleep. I would also think if she was rubbing herself against his crotch, he had to be at least semi-hard to give her some friction. The second question is how devout of a Christian is he? NO intimate touch at all? No heavy petting? No oral? The reason I mention this is because I waited for marriage to have intercourse due to my beliefs; however, I wasn't opposed to all sex...I was quite adept with oral sex and heavy petting to still satisfy whoever I happened to be seeing. My wife actually credits my oral skills to the fact that I waited.

In the eyes if the law this would constitute sexual assault.
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

Waiting until marriage was the norm and was widely considered the right way until very recently. Plenty of people still see things that way. They simply wait.

rcoreyus, I'm thinking that if a woman asks you to lay on top of her between her legs and doesn't say anything while you dry hump until orgasm, then you probably haven't violated her wishes.

The name of this thread says it all. There’s no way he could’ve stayed sleeping though all this, lol!

How do you satisfy sexual needs without having sex? It depends on how the couple defines sex. For some, its any sexual act, for others its just intercourse. Some couples can have a sexual relationship without intercourse. This is how my husband and I were in our early dating years. For others, everything is off limits. It depends on the couple and their beliefs.

I think it could end up being a problem only when the two don’t agree on what’s ok and what’s not ok. It’s seems this couple is not in agreement on that subject.

Claret, (EDIT) My girlfriend was the one who was on top of the guy she is seeing and she was the one who had the orgasm, not him.

This could possibly construed as assault by your girlfriend on her love interest. If you reverse the roles, it becomes what a part of society would construe as sexual assault by a man on a woman. With the roles as they are currently, if you wanted to apply the law consistently, you could come up with a charge of sexual assault. The law is not supposed to be applied with an underlying bias.

I disagree. I'd put my hatred for rape up against anybody's, but this is taking it too far. It's counterproductive because there are already people who want to sweep legitimate cases of rape under the rug or blame the victim. If we start classifying something like this as sexual assault it allows more people to trivialize what I view as one of the greatest plagues on our society.
