Honestly you need to ask yourself if your in love or just love him. Theres a big differnce. Think about it? Also ask yourself if you are just settling and also know what you want and need and honestly dont settle. I moved out for the same reasons you did. And got married for the wrong reasons. I loved him,but i was not in love with him. I ended up with two kids at 22 and married for 10 years together for 12 years. And ended up staying in my marriage for my kids. Until they where of age. He is a great guy,we are like really good friends now,we just were'nt meant to be. I woululd rather have him then nothing. Ask yiurself that question as well.Comment

When you are head over hills in love, you don't doubt in your heart. You're not ready yet. He is satisfying your need for security- to be taken care of. He's not satisfying your emotional needs. You want to marry someone you can't live without. Just tell him you're not ready for a commitment yet. Just be honest.Comment

Why don't you take a break.. Find an apartment with a female roommate and experience life on your own. How old are you? Date other people and have him date other people too. If you are meant to be together you will be. There is no rush to get married - You want to be sure of the person you will be married too.. This is a life decision and you want to be best friends with this person.. I love the saying: You are best friends who choose to be together.. My husband and I dated for 7 years before we got married - we have ups and downs - but mostly it is up - because he is my best friend.Comment

TORN
This has been so hard.... he is sooo heartbroken that i am feeling this way and i feel like i am just hurting him by staying i keep thinking this will pass. i am just so scared to regret leaving once i do. He is a wonderfull man. i havr thought for so long that ii dont need anything else i just wanted him then its like i just woke up oone day and everything i thought i wanted was gone and my heart was telling more that there has to be more to me then this. I hate to think of him with someone else and giving everything i have wanted from him to someone else. im so torn.

Don't let him make you feel so bad! My b/f is the same way... he doesn't understand why I would want to leave him..he doesn't understad that we are two very different people. If you had asked me a year ago whether or not I wanted to marry him I woudl have said " yes!" i thank god every day that he never proposed to me! It's much harder when that rings on your finger and ou have children. Too many reasons to stay.
If he's The One than you will ultimatley be together. I now know I sure as heck do not want to give up living these years of my life to the fullest! Enjoy... lifes too short.."Put on your big girl panties and deal with it!"Comment
