How could I get over him???? I am only 22 and I feel like my life is over. How could I enjoy life and get over him????
mvaldez, yes darlin it is best we let them go, but sometimes that is easier said than done. I know what you are feeling and how hard it is. I know how the sense of feeling like you are dying inside feels. I go thru days of crying the entire day too, just did that yesterday. Today is better. Your days will get easier too..

Sweetie you are only 22, you have your entire life ahead of you. Your life is NOT over, once you heal from this, your life will begin again. Take the time that you need to heal and grow from this. You can still live your life just life it at your own pace. Don't let anyone tell you what you should or need to do, do what you want and need to do and what YOU feel is best for you.

Its hard, I'll agree with you fifty thousand times over on that. I struggle everyday, but each day does get a bit easier, that I can promise you. I have had so much advice on what I need to do and should do and I value all of it. But when it all boils down to it, only you can make the choice for what you want and whats best for you. Sometimes our hearts tells us different things than our head does but in the end you and you only are the one who decided which one to follow and what you want to do.

"Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and NEVER regret anything that made you smile."

    Much love to you darlin...

Thank you for those encouraging words. I guess what I have to do now is get in touch with old friends and make new friends. The entire time I was with this guy, I must admit, I neglected my friends. I would never hang around with anybody but my ex. I would be very busy with school and the time I had free I would dedicate it 100% to this guy. I am ashamed of myself for that. Hopefully I will be able find old/new friends to hang out with. Today has been a better day and hopefully the days get better. Thanks again just4me!!!!!!!!

You are more than welcome darlin . I just want to add don't be ashamed of yourself. I did the same thing and I felt that way too but don't. You gave of yourself hoping for the same in return and there is nothing wrong with that. Never be ashamed only learn and grow from it.

i have no clue as to whether the things you suspect are truth or lies. no idea at all. BUT if you are in relationship, and you're not generally suspicious and unbalanced, if you feel really really insecure, it is usually for a reason. Because it is deserved! If your relationship is working well, and there is a good balance you would just laugh off any other suggestions. If you genuinely feel concerned and seriously insecure, there is generally a reason behind it. xxx

We all mess up and get our priorities wrong at times. As long as your learn who your true friends are, nothing really matters xxxxx

I truely feel insecure about him. We have not seen each other for a couple of weeks now, well he has tried to talk over the phone and he has gone over my house but I have refused to see him.

I really want to get over him but it is too hard. I am actually proud of myself for being able to stay this long without talking to him. I hope it stays like that, for the best. Although, there is times when I feel weak and want to talk to him but I try to keep myself thinking that I can't do that.
