And did her MD say that this was likely since her teens, and the cause for her sexual appetite? Or is this *her* reason/excuse?
It's not particularly relevant, but just curious what her story is, as it's not the typical expectation I'd have with all you've made known of her. Also interesting that it was all discovered around about the time she could be perimenopausal. Something to think about....

Hi atskitty2,
She is perimenopausal.
I only know what she's told me.
She told me that the onset of her abnormal testosterone was puberty. I'm assuming that came from her physician.
I don't know what to make of her. Apparently she's peculiar. I'd of thought that by now a poster would have had a similar experience along with advice.
I've often thought that she has a behavioral problem. To her, sex isn't a big deal. She has told me that when she began having sex, she was naive and thought that what she did was normal. For instance, one of her first boyfriends, the dude with whom she thought she was in love, was about 4 years older. They had a lot of sex. Every time she went to his apartment, he took her into his bedroom, they had sex for a couple hours, then they'd go out for activities, then it was back to his apartment for more sex. She'd get home at 4 am. He introduced her to anal sex. She thought that it was normal, so she went along with what he wanted. When she reflects upon him now, she acknowledges that he used her for sex because she gave it to him when he wanted it, how he wanted it, and where it wanted it. A high school boyfriend wanted mostly blow jobs. She was naive and thought it was normal. So she gave him blow jobs when he wanted them.
While that might have been naive, it could also implicate something else.
I can't write for certain that high testosterone caused her promiscuity or whether it was caused by something else. I do know that she has been having sex since she was 15 and hasn't stopped. She has told me a zillion times that since she lost her virginity, she has loved sex. I've never asked her how many sexual partners she's had. But I'd guess it has to be in the vicinity of 30, which is a concern. The number doesn't bother me. That I suspect that she had difficulty keeping relationships does. BTW, it seems as though many divorced women who have married young and divorced in their 30's and early 40's seem to embark on an adventure of sowing wild oats. But that's their business, not mine, unless I married one who felt she still had unsown oats that needed farming.
As far as I know, she had a normal upbringing. She did have access to a lot of $$$. I don't think she was molested. I have considered that her promiscuity might have been rebellion against her strict father. Or maybe she tried to fit in with college kids who didn't come from money. I don't know. And I no longer care.
