I need to repeat - interpersonal relationships are very complicated, and I don't think you want to get caught in the middle. You don't know what is going on, you only know what someone is telling you is going on. Never underestimate how devious and vicious people can be.

Hahahahahahahaha...that's incredibly funny. Maybe you didn't read my post. I WAS going to tell her for you. Not now though since you called me a coward.
        Cheers.

And incidentally, I was volunteering to do YOUR dirty work for YOU!

          Ok, I'm confused (as usual).
Commonsense seems to be responding to her own post. But she seemed to think Fire(m) was asking someone else to do his dirty work, when it looked like he was offering to do the dirty work.

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

As an aside, I think anonymous emails about an affair are not a good idea. Think how you (any of you, not aimed at someone in particular) would respond if you got one.

Just pull back and stay out of the way. If you do anything other than that you will only make enemies.
If you try to get involved or do anything you will only be blamed for messing things up.

            Just keep your head down.

Hey Fire(m): that is the first advice I have seen you give that I TOTALLY disagree with. Hmmm.

Here's what I see. Wife will find out who hubby is sleeping with, the sleepie with let it slip that you knew, wife will be hurt by hubby who is a cheating louse, sleepie who should have cut ties as soon as she found out he was married and you, the lousy friend who knew but didnt tell her and let her be played the fool. Its a no win situation for you and the position sucks. Sorry for that. I would get out and stay uninvolved with all of them but first I would tell the cheater and the cheatie I want nothing to do with it or them and thank them sarcastically for ruining your friendship with the wife as well with their selfishness.

I agree with all of you concerning my not being involved.

I could be wrong, but I think fireman is the cheating husband.
That's why I said what I said. The cheater is a fireman.

Let's get this straight. I never had a close relationship with the "wife". We just chit chat sometimes and see each other out and about. I had a relationship with the lady that's seeing the married man. And way before he came in the picture. I wanted to protect the lady who I cared about. I didn't give a flip about the wife. Just didn't want to be involved in drama to hurt someone. Thank you and good bye!

I think this has become a very touchy situation for you Commonsense so I'm closing the thread.
