Do what you feel is right for you. Not what others feel is right. I am sure that your true friends just want you to be happy no matter what your decision is. True family/friends will not turn your back on you..especially if you are walking into a better situation.
You need to build that confidence and dont worry about what others think. That is a lesson I had to learn the hard way and in the end my true friends and my family are still here for me!
I hope whatever your choice is it all works out for the best!Comment

To blueeyed: thanks again for your reply-I think I have made up my mind-I am giving myself the weekend to really be sure of my decision-my guy friend understands what I am going thru and he wants me to take my time to be sure I make the right decision (even though he does want me to leave my husband) but he said that I am not going to lose him by taking my time unless it is 3 years from now then he will move on but he said I am worth the wait.
To marvingirl: Thanks for your reply. I do already know who my true friends are and it is not very many unfortunately but that is the way it works. My husband and I split up for a little while before we married and I found out then who my true friends were so I am keeping that in mind. I am just glad that I have my son to keep me going otherwise I would be even more of a mess. I know in time I will find happiness again, thanks for your thoughts.Comment

sorry to say this but leave him
honestly, I feel your pain and likewise I feel his pain, I've been in this situation before, and believe I am well qualified to answer your question, it seams you have been struggling with this ordeal for some time, its time for both of you to move on, give the other guy a chance, and free your husband it will hurt him more than any thing in the world and it will hurt him for a long time maybe even years to come but in time he will get over it, but if you both keep trying and you lost feeling for him you will only make things even worst for you and him it could turn out to be a nightmare, you don't love your husband anylonger and from experience no matter how heard you try it will probably will just get worst.Comment

I don't think anyone can decide for you. Unfortunately you are completely alone for this one.
Just one word of advice - your posts make you sound like a really sweet person who is always trying to please everyone, and keep everyone on side.
I think this is the one decision of your life where you NEED to be entirely self centered and selfish, however alien that concept is to you!!
Whatever ends up beign the right decision, please make sure you put yourself first, bot your husband, or your boyfriend, or your friends.
Learn to be selfsih for the first time ever. I bet you are worth it.Comment
