"Funny how things work it sound cliché, but you will find him when you least expect it, until then enjoy your life and take advantae of the opportunities life presents."

This is so true. My fiance is totally nothing like any other dude I've dated and he and I were friends for a while before we ever dated, kissed, hugged, or anything more then a high five. Waiting is a good thing. I'm 27 and he'll be 30 in a few days. He wants kids so badly and I want them but not as bad as he does because I still have to finish my degrees. I have a double major. Also, the thing I am finding out, we've been engaged and living together for 2 years, is that I do love him a whole lot because if it were any other man who gave me the trouble he gives me I wouldn't tolerate that stinking mess for a second!

We have that pressure of the whole "go forth and multiply" catholic thing. I think he feels that pressure more from his peers and family than I certainly do. The only pressure I get about kids is from him...pfft...it's my body and it'll happen when we are both ready, not just when he is ready, and he understands it even if he wishes it were sooner.

The age society expects you to married off by is usually different for different cultures. The people I am around, my family... would think 22 is way too young to marry. In societies where women having an education is promoted... marriage before getting that education is usually discouraged.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
