And second, yeah how soon after did she contact and say she was pregnant?... is it a possible attempt for the family to extort money from you? Is this a poor family/poor country? However even if her pregnancy is a sham, you did sleep with an underage girl and even if she wasn't pregnant you are faced with the same problems.

I have the same question. If she has your contact info to reach you out of the country... it was obviously more than just some one night encounter and a full blown... obviously well thought out... affair, which would lend it self to ask what were you thinking?

I find it really hard to accept when a guy cheats, is found out, and then thinks he can get away with what he's done by saying 'I love my girlfriend so much' 'she means the world to me' 'I want her in my life' etc etc....and i find it hard to accept because in the midst of you cheating, your girlfriend and your love for her were out the window. you had no thought of her, her feelings or her devotion to you when you slept with this minor - so how can you turn around to her and say you love her? Its like a slap in the face. If my boyfriend cheated on me (god forbid!), and i found out, and then he turned on the 'but i love you' waterworks, i would be like....'errr....you clearly dont!'. its like your just saying it because you think it will make everything alright, not that you actually mean it.
I think using alcohol is an EXTREMELY poor excuse to defend cheating. Its pathetic! mainly due to the main points that if you were 'drunk' you wouldnt have been able to properly perform anyway. So you must have been somewhat merry - so you knew what you were doing - when you slept with her. If you loved your girlfriend so much, the thought of sleeping with someone else (regardless you being sober or drunk) just wouldnt cross your mind at all.
I ask what everyone else is saying - how one earth did she get your contact information? if you willingly gave them to her - then complete shame on you. that just indicates that you wanted to remain in contact with her - obviously to cheat again.
Im being brutal i know. Its just that cheating makes me sick. I will admire your girlfriend 100000% if she decides to carry on the relationship with you. as personally, for me, if my boyfriend ever cheated i couldnt be with him. The trust would vanish in an instant. I wouldnt be able to share the same bed with him, let alone sleep with him knowing that someone else had 'had him' other then me. It would ALWAYS be on my mind.
I can assure you, that if you guys do remain together, your girlfriend will NEVER forget this. can you live like that? can you live with the fact that whenever you go out your girlfriend will be constantly worrying, and even assuming, that your sleeping around? I couldnt thats for sure.
