You know, people will read a thread, and offer their opinions, after all that is what a Forum is all about..
You started this thread with wanting advice, but I can see your standing up for him, in love with him and purely maybe are just venting.. I think that what I wrote was opinions, advice, you don't...
But, re-read it, in no way was I being harsh, I was purely stating, you were his first proper relationship, these things he did before you, he's having trouble stopping them, he stated he did it before for ego boosts, I'm saying well he shouldn't need an ego boost now, he's engaged, and my advice or opinions about telling your family? Well, that's good, if you have a strong, great relationship with your family, and they purely hear you but don't judge or will never hold things against your fiance, later in life, your lucky, because I know of so many cases, where it turns ugly later in life, as the parent remembers and uses it against the other person and those people wish they never confided
A key to Forums.. Take the advice / opinions you agree with, and don't with what you don't, to tell someone what they wrote you fail to see how it helped and then state you won't be back due to that reply won't assist anyone. If you had written that about another person on this Forum, I would have closed your thread, as it comes across, as dis-respecting the members, after all you came here for thoughts and they are mine.
However, I prefer as the Moderator of this Forum that you re-think, re-read what was written, it's advice, an opinion, and as I stated, he can't use ego boosting anymore, your engaged. He can't say he'll stop and then be caught out later yet again, as you will not be able to trust him, believe him...
We hope you enjoy the Forum and realise people are here to help.. Whether you like what you read or not, as advised, skip the advice/opinion of those you don't agree with...
