jonnie rocks- Thanks for the male perspective. I often assume that my husband should know to deal with aftermath of his indiscretion since it seems so obvious to me. If I was the one who had the one night stand, I would go out of my way to stay above reproach and act in a trust worthy manner. My husband doesnt seem to understand how devastating it is to find out that your spouse has had sex with another person, and then lied about it. He keeps telling me that he isnt doing anything wrong and gets angry sometimes when I question him about something. A couple nights ago, his high school sweetheart texted him at 12:30 am and he didnt bother to tell me. When I saw record of the two texts (I have never read his texts) I was very upset and asked him why he didnt tell me. He had a fit and said some pretty mean things to me, accusing me of treating him like "property" and a few other lame comments. It turns out the the high school girlfriend sent him a couple prayers for his birthday and there was nothing more to it. Why couldnt he just tell me the truth? I have read a lot about cheating since my heart was broken a few months back, and it appears that the most important part of regaining trust is to be transparent. Why is that so hard to figure out for some people?
