Stop giving then so he realises he has to give
We just get so stuck huh, try and try and get no where and then it seems to be taken advantage of..
Express to him your hurt he didn't buy you anything, or say happy anniversary, and mean it... Men don't get it
Well some anyways....

20 years....congrats...that's quite an accomplishment. It would've been nice for him to show some sort of appreciation or something. What gets into guys? Once on a 4 year anniversary, I cut out colored hearts and wrote something I loved about him on each heart and placed them throughout his apartment so he'd find them when he got home from work. I thought very hard about what I wrote on each one. And I attached different types of his favorite candies to each one. I was in college and didn't have money so a big gift wasn't possible. Anywho....not only did he NOT even mention what I'd done after he got home....... he stopped by the Dollar STore on his way to see me and bought me a pack of disposable razors and a plastic fish piggy bank. :\ I laugh about it now...but it didn't feel funny at the time.
The only man that doesn't "get it" that he should do something nice for his wife on any anniversary, much less a 20th, is a man who is choosing not to pay attention. Talking to him, and telling him how it made you feel is a good idea I think....long as you can do it without getting super upset.Comment
