My husband and a female co-worker. Advice Please!
My husbad has talked about a certain girl for a long time. I know everything about this girl. I even found out when she was 3 weeks pregnant. I have never met this girl until last night at 9 pm when my husband and I were reading to our two kids to put them down to bed. She asked my husband if she could drop her Xmas gifts off to him so he could pass them out for her in the morning because she would be out of town. This was the first time I have met this girl. She is pretty. I am also pretty so I am not to worried about that. I just don't like how I already knew so much about this girl before I even met her. She came in our house last night and she said that my husband and her talk all the time and he has told her great stories about our children and about my pregnancies. I am ANGRY! I am mad at my husband and he just tells me that I have "problems" and its not a big deal. Help. I need advice. -
A whole range of things might or might not be going on here.
Are you and your husband able to talk about personal things with each other (my wife and I are not, for example)? If not, maybe he has found someone he can talk to?
Some people are very open to near-strangers about their personal lives - can be very uncomfortable to people who are very private. -
Some people chat with their co-workers throughout the day to pass the time.
I've made some really good friends at work. I worked in a small office (5 people) and was in a room with just one other guy all day. We became great friends. I knew all about his girlfriend, he knew about my boyfriend, we talked about our families...etc etc. We've both moved on to different jobs but remain good friends to this day.
Doesn't mean we loved our significant others any less, or that there was anything going on between us two. Just that we hit it off well at work and became friends.
Doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about.Comment

Well, unless he has given you reason in the past to doubt his word I would say believe him. Don't over-think it and get yourself to upset. I've been guilty of that myself.
It's possible it could be a case of her being interested in something more than a friendship and him being oblivious to that fact. I do believe that sometimes we females can see things that guys can't. We can pick up on the slightest hint of things. There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.Comment

I can certainly see how these situations have led to your being skeptical about things, but still try to keep a positive attitude. You've said you have expressed your concerns to him, maybe try talking again and explain to him why it concerns you (if you haven't already). There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.Comment
